注:请点击下方的“只看该作者”,方便浏览。谢谢。 洞穴是美丽的,洞穴是富有挑战性的,洞穴也是充满危险的。 探洞,对很多人来说还比较陌生。黑暗和丧失方向感是绝大多数人从未体验过的。黑暗、幽闭给人的紧张和恐惧远远大于人们对洞穴本来奇形怪状风光的认识。人要怎样克服自身对未认知世界的恐惧、现有感官在黑暗未知中所产生的种种不安?探洞正是这样一种极具挑战性的心理对抗战运动,它的魅力就在于你永远不知道你的下一步会看见什么,会发现什么,能满足你无限的想象,不断探索的欲望和好奇心。 相信很多人看过《黑暗侵袭》或《夺命深渊》这类的电影,对洞穴里面的食人怪物和探洞者迷失方向的恐惧记忆犹新。这次把作业交到游记攻略版,也是希望让更多的人了解洞穴以及神秘的洞穴生物,对这种无人涉足的地下世界有一个全新的认识。并以我和娟子为教训,千万不要学我俩哦!我和娟子的探险系列:业余选手三探雨扇洞: https//bbs.8264.com/thread-1872892-1-1.html一路上有你,凶险的探寻之旅我没有一丝恐惧(孤岛烟儿炮鬼吹灯+鬼宅探秘)贺岁帖 :https//bbs.8264.com/thread-1988167-1-1.html陪你去冒险,在黑暗的迷窟中点一盏不灭的明灯(寻龙记+入阴河)https//bbs.8264.com/thread-2020255-1-1.html 四年前在沈阳,刚认识娟子的时候,她一个小姑娘独自住在一幢二层楼里,也不害怕。而且晚上还把窗帘拉的严严实实,躲在房间里看恐怖片,音量放的大大的。这不禁让我对她刮目相看。经过死缠烂打,最后一直追她到了大辽河边,才终于打动了她的心。哈哈,现在回忆起来还很甜蜜。 我和娟子在南方一年半的时间里,进深山,漂江河,钻丛林,探洞穴。曾险被瀑布冲进山洞里;曾在深夜跳入野湖中寻觅发出绿光的眼睛;曾几次在森林中迷路;曾在山洞中被巨大的蝙蝠攻击。。。。。。因为在这里,我俩没有朋友,所以每次出去探险,都没有第三人知道,这也增加了危险系数。向日葵色板官方两个人,同甘苦,共患难,幸运之神一次次的眷顾了我俩,每次的化险为夷也让我俩增加了户外经验,学会了如何预见危险,躲避危险。 为什么我明"毒帖“二字呢?说起来有点惭愧。我曾在天涯论坛上发过一篇探洞的帖子,这家伙,铺天盖地的板儿砖拍的我蒙灯转向。其实,向我提出意见的,无论言词有多尖刻,我都能虚心接受并表示感谢。但偏偏有那么一帮人,张嘴闭嘴就是”找死“二字,我很反感。谁的生命也不是大风刮来的,谁都有父母亲人和责任。我和娟子也一样。虽然向日葵色板官方两人喜欢冒险,但每次都把安全放在首位。并不像这些人所说的为自己寻找刺激而给别人带来麻烦。还有一些人回帖里说,我的帖子是“毒帖”,例如这个回帖: 我在这里给亲爱的驴友们一点提示,户外运动风险级别高的,尽量不要轻易挑战。如果喜欢探洞,可以选择一些已经探明而且难度不大的洞穴,探洞之前,多学习一些和洞穴有关的知识,装备很重要,最好有向导,至少三人以上团队,洞口有接应人员。我和娟子虽然也懂这些,但克制不住内心冒险的欲望,虽然积累了一点探洞经验,但像我俩这样,风险系数还是很大,所以请大家以我俩为戒,切勿效仿。 此次我俩探洞的装备如下:双肩包2个快干裤2条牛仔裤2条外套2件头盔2顶筒靴2双运动鞋2双PVC牛筋挂胶手套2双强光手电1把备用3800毫安的18650电池4节LED手电筒4把袖珍手电2把蜡烛3根打火机2只蒙古刀1把 (开山用)瑞士军dao一把高倍望远镜1架口罩2只(蝙蝠屎尿气味很难闻)眼镜2副(防止抬头的时候,蝙蝠屎拉到眼睛里)长焦相机配8节2300毫安电池长短三脚架各一副创可贴若干花露水一瓶月饼1斤饮用水4升嗯,大概就这些东西吧,装备比较简陋。专业的探洞设备价格很昂贵,一套好的探洞装备起码上万,承受不起,所以我和娟子商定,遇到洞中的竖井绝不尝试下探。由于我的文化水平有限,写不出妙笔生花的文字,只能用大白话来叙述本次探洞经历,帖子比较长,逐步更新中。最近心情比较沮丧。寻找千尸洞失败,寻找桃花洞失败,寻找曾家对门山洞失败,而这次寻找的山洞连名字都没有,更没有路线。只是我和娟子在一次徒步穿越的时候,在山中看到一户人家。向这家的一个老人打听才得知,山中有一个洞穴。老人只给我俩指出了大概的方向,并说那里根本无路可走,但我和娟子还是决心尝试一下。寻找洞穴入口我是深有体会,不是一般的困难。想在荆棘密布,草深林密的山中找到洞口,谈何容易。刚进山,我就被成群的蚊虫叮咬。虽然裸露的皮肤都喷上了花露水,但也不管用。照片中可以清晰的看到我后脖子被咬了很多包,又疼又痒,这不禁让我想起《荒野求生》中的贝爷穿越原始丛林的镜头。 我的双手被带刺的植物划的都是口子,鲜血淋漓。娟子比我强不少,只有少处划伤。接连翻了两座山头,由于野草太高,即使站在山顶也什么都看不到,只能上树了。爬到树上,向远处观望,发现了老人所指的一片竹林。下树后继续前行。 这是一条虎斑游蛇,微毒。大概很多人都见过,在我国分布很广。在东北,土名叫“野鸡脖子”。不过前几年有日本科学家新发现,被这种蛇咬伤后,会引起脑出血,在日本已生产出抗虎斑游蛇毒血清。我在年少时曾经抓过这种蛇,捕捉的时候,它会高昂脑袋,头和脖子扁扁的,做出攻击状。如果在手里把玩一会儿,手就有一股腥臭的味道。最奇怪的是,这种蛇在后脖子喷出毒液,只要不射进眼睛里,就没什么问。我发现这条蛇的时候,因为手有点抖动,所以拍的不是很清晰。等我再想拍第二张的时候,它就窜进草丛中不见了。历尽千辛万苦,终于找到了洞口所在。这是我和娟子一个多月以来,经历了数次失败后,找到的全新洞穴。心情很激动,站在洞口边,发现洞道向下延伸,虽然坡度有点陡,但难度不是很大。里面漆黑一片,到底会有什么样的景致在等待我俩呢? 我国历史上有记载的洞穴探险始于明代徐霞客。英国人李约瑟称徐霞客的著作与其说是17世纪知识分子的著述,不如说是20世纪的野外考察记录。遗憾的是他没有绘下一分洞穴图纸,不知是失传,还是当时的他没有想到?继徐霞客之后,我国的洞穴探险后继乏人,于是洞穴成了我国遗留在大地上的“最后的”神秘所在。 和欧美等国相比,我国拥有的洞穴数与我国从事探洞活动的人数很不相称。近年来我国已有群众性洞穴组织了:1984年贵州省地理学会建立的我国第一个洞穴组织—洞穴专业委员会;1987年广州华南师范大学建立的洞穴研究协会;1987年建立的广西柳州洞穴协会;1989年设立的中国科学探险学会洞穴探险部;1991年中国地质学会等。直至今天,民间洞穴探险队也开始活跃起来。具有代表性的有重庆洞穴探险队,浙江洞穴探险队,疯子探险队等。这些洞穴探险队有着资深的探洞经验和救援技术,为我国的洞穴研究开发做出了很大的贡献。 我和娟子只能算是业余业余再业余的选手,哈哈。不过也能体验到其中的乐趣就够了。简单的换好衣服,我和娟子准备下洞。 说实话,娟子的攀岩技术比我要强不少,很多时候都是她抢在前面探路。这次也不例外。(说这话我都脸红)。向日葵色板官方两人安全到了洞底,洞底距离洞口大概不到十米,仔细查看了一下周围的环境,没发现有蛇类活动。抬头看看洞外,不知道再次看见阳光会是什么时候了。 再次检查和调试了一下手电。然后就准备在我身后的小洞口钻进去。 探洞一般可以分为两种:即水洞探险和干洞探险。水洞的探险指洞内有常年地下水流的岩溶洞穴。干洞是脱离了自由水面的化石洞,发育在地势较高的地方,发育的历史较长,洞内往往被各种多彩多姿的钟乳石所装饰,目前我俩还不能确定这个洞穴到底属于哪一种类型。正式进入到了黑暗之中,蹑足潜踪,放轻脚步,以防惊起成群的蝙蝠,那可一点也不好玩儿。 其实早在北宋,王安石的《游褒禅山记》中就提到其探洞的经历,“余与四人拥火以入,入之愈深,其进愈难,而其见愈奇”。王安石无限感慨地说着他的遗憾,认为自己半途而返是缺乏探索精神,以致出洞后追悔莫及。时至今日,他的那份心情,依然能够穿越时空的阻隔,清楚地摆在向日葵色板官方面前。当然,这位伟大的文学家兼改革家做梦也没有想到,一千多年后的今天,我和娟子继续体验他曾经痴迷的探洞心情。脚下非常难走,洞穴一路向下延伸,这里是另外一个奇妙的世界,我俩正在为“自己心中的神秘”而探索 ! 哈哈,又看到了这种家伙。在我探过的所有洞穴中,无一例外都有它的身影。学名“灶马”,也有人叫它洞穴蟋蟀。是有名的洞窟性及群栖性昆虫。在洞中,它以蝙蝠粪便和小昆虫为食,自己也被蝙蝠和洞穴蜘蛛所吞食。 形态各异的石头开始出现了,这块大石裂开了一个口子,我怎么看,怎么像一个巨大鳄鱼的眼睛。这种石头形成的原因是含钙高的水滴在石头上,日积月累就形成了这种特有的乳白色。 娟子每次在洞穴中的某块石头前,都要驻足仔细观看很久,也不知道她能看出什么来。喊她几次才肯走。哈哈,我都习惯了。 寂静黑暗的洞穴中,我和娟子步伐很慢,仔细观察周围的环境。这个洞穴貌似还没有人类留下的痕迹,这也就增加了本次探洞的危险性。抬头观望,上面有一个支洞,洞口狭窄。对探洞者来说,如果不是迫不得已,尽量不要去钻这种细小的岔洞。我记得有一个洞穴探险者,强行钻进这样的小洞,不慎被洞壁卡住,进退两难。最后,队友用残忍的办法——敲碎他的肩胛骨,才得以脱身。 隐约听见了吱吱的叫声和翅膀拍打的声音。顺着声音寻去,不出所料,在我俩去路的上方,聚集着一群蝙蝠。我和娟子在第二次探雨扇洞的时候,曾拍摄到了一只巨大的蝙蝠。第三次探雨扇洞的时候,被蝙蝠屎尿的气味熏的刺鼻辣眼,因为怕氨中毒,最后退了出来。关于蝙蝠,我在《业余选手三探雨扇洞》的帖子里有详细的介绍,这里就不多废话了。由于蝙蝠往往携带狂犬病毒,所以尽量不要招惹它们,被惊醒的蝙蝠群是很可怕的。所幸现在我俩遇到的蝙蝠群并不很大,也比较安静,我俩尽量的轻手轻脚,以求安全通过。 要想继续前行,必须紧贴着这群蝙蝠才能过去。娟子又要先行通过,我拉住她,让她躲在一块石头后面,我先上去看看情况。 记得我发过一个探洞贴,有个驴友给我回帖说,蝙蝠有超声波,怎样飞都不会撞到你。就连电视上的动物世界和学校的课本里,都这么说。但事实并非如此。受惊的蝙蝠根本不辨方向,好似没头的苍蝇一样乱撞。这种情况,每个探洞者都曾经历过。所以还是小心为妙。我悄悄爬了过去,慢慢直起腰,蝙蝠和我近在咫尺,只要一伸手就能抓到,但它们还是安静的倒挂在石壁上,对我不理不睬。 顺利的在蝙蝠下面经过,松了口气,继续前行。面前一块石头,就在相片的左下角位置,看起来像一头母狮的脑袋。 感谢各位驴友回帖支持,继续更新中。。。。。。 我和娟子前行的路,一直都在向下延伸,没有检测海拔的设备,所以也不知道现在我俩具体深度是多少。前面又是一个崖壁,我仔细看看,坡度不大,应该容易下去。安全到底,路就比较平坦了。洞壁或洞顶流出的饱含碳酸钙的薄层水流沉积形成褶状流石的石幔,在手电的照射下,非常漂亮。各种奇异的石头,在地底不知沉睡了几百万,几千万年,才有了今天这样的形状。如果近距离拍摄观察,会觉得更加漂亮。 又向前行进了一段路,忽然发现前面的石头上,趴着一只大蚰蜒。有人叫它“地蜈蚣”,它的头部后面有一个环节、有一对钩状颚足,颚足末端成爪状,爪的顶端有毒腺开口,能分泌毒液,触及人体皮肤后即可致局部疱疹,令人刺痛难受。常见的蚰蜒体长25—-30毫米,洞穴蚰蜒就要大很多了。我见到的这只大蚰蜒比筷子还粗,身长近10厘米。 七绕八拐,沿途做了一些记。为了不给溶洞造成大的污染,我只是用容易降解的白纸,塞在比较明显的石缝中。如果返回,再逐一取出。 又向下行走了一段路,进入了一个比较宽阔的洞厅。这里湿气很重,并漂浮着浓浓的雾气。由于长时间闻着石灰岩的气味,所以嗅觉有点麻木了。我仔细闻了很久,没发现有瓦斯或者别的异味。小心的点燃了蜡烛,观察到火苗的颜色没有改变,燃烧正常。相反,如果发现火焰闪烁,表明氧气不足或二氧化碳含量已达3%,这时要特别注意,二氧化碳含量达到10%时火苗熄灭,会迅速致命。当然这样的情况不多。目前我国只在云南发现个别洞穴二氧化碳含量较高。 虽然没有什么危险,但感觉身上有点冷了。从背包里取出外套穿上,和娟子商量了一下,如果前面雾气依然很大,我俩就不再继续下探。([]

) ) 我是恋恋,请大家多多关照。今年的秋天,沿滇藏线进西藏再到樟木,最后去走了尼泊尔的EBC(就是尼泊尔境内的珠峰南坡的登山大本营)) 我的行程: 合肥--昆明--丽江--束河--香格里拉—梅里雪山—帮达—八宿—林芝—拉萨—日喀则--樟木—加得满都 ,此段为国内线路,一站一站慢慢走,慢慢看。加得满都—LUKLA(鲁卡拉)----徒步至—珠峰EBC(EVEREST BASE CAMP),EVEREST指的就是峰珠穆朗玛峰--加得满都--樟木—定日--羊湖—拉萨—合肥 ,此段重点在尼泊尔的EBC。[ ] 我的行程地图国内部分:尼泊尔部分:红色部分为徒步线路[ ] 尼泊尔境内,世界最高峰珠穆朗玛峰的南坡,有一个国家公园叫萨珈玛塔,公园有一条150公里的徒步线路,起点LUKLA,终点EBC(EVEREST BASE CAMP),EVEREST指的就是峰珠穆朗玛峰.下文所有提到的EVEREST都是珠峰的代名词! 行走萨珈玛塔之路,是每个徒步爱好者的终极梦想.在珠峰南坡看珠峰:[ ]尼泊尔是个多山的国家,世界上没有第二个国家有尼泊尔这样得天独厚的条件:世界上海拔8000米的10座山峰里,在尼泊尔境内,可以看到8座。在不到150公里的范围内, 海拔高度从60米陡然攀升到世界最高峰沿喜玛拉雅南麓,你可以欣赏到最壮观的四季垂直景观,许多的登山和徒步者每年乐此不彼的来到喜玛拉雅山脚下,为自己的梦想去征服一座又一座的雪山……[ ]每年,有超过25000人的欧美以及日韓人士踏上这条小路,在近珠峰大本营的小旅店挂滿世界各地徒步驴的留名.这个行程海拔从2800米到5500米,萨珈玛塔在尼语中的意思是"从陆地到海洋"或者"世界之颠"的意思,在这里,这个名字就代表你将从开满鲜花的林地穿越美丽的村庄和山间小路走向冰雪晶莹的世界之巅!走EBC本来是去年的计划,多种原因未果,08年,我的萨珈玛塔之路终于成行.从加德满都到LUKLA,可以乘小型飞机,机票价格200美金,LUKLA是此次徒步线路的起点,在这里可以找到背夫(兼向导),从LUKLA往北有三个山谷通往Everest(备注.在尼泊尔,珠峰有3个名字:Everest,Chomolungma,Sagarmatha,而Everest是最常用的),主要的景点都集中在这不同的三条山谷 Gokyo, Kala Pathar,Chukung.其中最流行的是走 Kala Pathar,位于EBC附近此次,我只走了两条沟Kala Pathar和Chukung,时间是8天上,4天下,并且记录了有关功略.线路特点:1,从低海拔向高海拔缓慢过度,大部分人可以很快适应; 2,每天雪山伴着你徒步,可以看见8000米以上的雪山有珠峰、洛子峰、卓奥友、马卡鲁。 3,路非常成熟,每走1-2小时都有住宿点,有花园,有雪山,有热茶和咖啡; 4,夏尔巴背夫忠诚,而且能吃苦耐劳,有些背夫甚至可以说上一口流利的英语,今年的价格每天5-10美金; 5,自然的美景+独特的人文给这条线带来更加神奇的色彩; 6,难度并非想象的那么大,12天里,上升的8天里,我每天的徒步时间没有超过6小时的;[ ]我的12天EBC的行程:这些英文的地点可能你会看了头发昏,没有去之前,我也是 ;P ,但是,当我回头看这些陌生而又熟悉的地方时,常常有些感动在心中,这些地名已经不是单纯的一个个符号,它们象一组一组的电影里的长镜头,虽已远去,却历久长新。。。。D1,加德满都机场——LUKLA(鲁克拉)(2840米)---—Thado Koshi Gaon(2800)午餐—Phakding(2610米)(徒步3小时,准-,海拔略有下降) D2,Phakding(2610米)-----—Monjo(2840) 午餐---—Namche Bazar(3440米)(徒步5小时,上升800米,准+) D3,Namche(3440米)-----Everest View Hotle (3926)---- Namche(3440米)(徒步3小时,D4, Namche(3440米)------Phunki Tenge(3250)(午餐) ---- Tengpoche(3860米)(徒步6小时,上升1000米,准+) D5,Tengboche(3860米)---Shomare(4250)(午餐)---------Dingboche(4410米)(徒步5小时,上升800米,准) D6, Dingboche(4410)---Chhukhung(4750)(徒步5小时,上升1000米,准+)----- Dingboche(4410)D7,Dingboche(4410)——Duglha4620(午餐)-——Lhobuche(4910)(徒步5小时,上下820米,准+) D8,Lhobuche(4910)-----Gorak Shep(5200米) (午餐)——EBC(珠峰大本营,5364米)——Gorak Shep(5200米)——(徒步8小时,爬升500米,挑战) D9, Gorak Shep(5200米)——Kala Patthar(5600米)——Gorap Shep(5140米)早餐------ Lhobuche(4910) (午餐)----Pheriche(4280) (徒步6小时,下降)D10, Pheriche(4280)------ Tengboche(3860米)------ Namche(3440米)(下降)D11,Namche(3440米)----- Phakding(2610米)(下降)D12, Phakding(2610米)---------- LUKLA(鲁克拉)(2840米)---—加德满都机场(下降)[ ]证北京,上海,拉萨,香港均可办理,今年起证按不同的停留时间15天、30天、60天收费不等. 30天的证费是280元。我的证是在拉萨办理的,周一递材料(填一个申请表格,2张照片),周三就可以拿。很方便。货币:樟木口岸1:11,加都1:10.45,徒步的孔布地区只能换到18.5. 在加都的泰木尔区有很多外汇兑换点,很方便;不要担心有假币,到目前为止还木有听说过有假币之说;用电 加都的所有酒店使用的电源插座都是英式的,所以带上220V圆柱两相或三项插座是必须的;EBC的路上,只有很少的点可以提供充电的地方,海 拔越高,充电的费用越贵,每小时300卢比左右;所以如果你是个色友,带足相机电池,是你必须做到的,以免不测。线路特点 1,从低海拔向高海拔缓慢过度,大部分人可以很快适应;2,每天雪山伴着你徒步,可以看见8000米以上的雪山有珠峰、洛子峰、卓奥友、马卡鲁。3,路非常成熟,每走1-2小时都有住宿点,有花园,有雪山,有热茶和咖啡;4,尔巴背夫忠诚,而且能吃苦耐劳,有些背夫甚至可以说上一口流利的英语,今年的价格每天5-10美金;5,自然的美景+独特的人文给这条线带来更加神奇的色彩;6,难度并非想象的那么大,12天里,上升的8天里,我每天的徒步时间没有超过6小时的; [ ]加都有很多旅行社提供登山向日葵视频色板APP官网,包括向导,背夫,出住等一条龙向日葵视频色板APP官网,但是这些保姆式的向日葵视频色板APP官网主要是针对那些喜欢FB游的客人,费用也比较贵!如果想真正体验行走喜玛拉雅的快乐,还是自己自助。省钱不说,重要是体验自由自在的行走给你带来的那种快乐![ ]来到NAPAL到了樟木,过了友谊桥的中间那条线,那就意味着进入NAPAL了。 穿过混乱拥堵的桥头之后,立刻汇入了尼人的洪流,口岸的贸易看来很不错。走了大约5-6分钟,进到尼国的入关办公室,一个看上去就不怎么让人喜欢的人开口就索汇--200尼,大概合人民币也就20元不到,来之前在网上看到功略说可以不给,因为这个属于非正常收费。进去之前,我就打定主义要据理以争。 SO,当那个留小胡子的男人说了200元之后,我立刻回绝,对他说:对不起,办理入关手续是你的职责,请不要滥用你的职权乱收费。他很惊讶的看着我,似乎不敢相信。旋即,他就耸耸肩,说了句:OK。就准备和我耗下去了。和我一起包车来樟木的几个人都以一副很配合的姿态缴了这200尼,并且很快办好了入关手续,只剩下我一个人和他们对恃。时间已经是中午了,到加都也是要几个人一起包车比较合算,眼争争的看着他们在等着我,没有办法,只好妥协。200尼是小事,很气不过这样的官员这样FB。 一个人500尼,谈好价格后,向日葵色板官方搭上了一个小皮卡,前往加得满都。樟木公安检查站樟木远眺。过了这里就进入NEPAL了[ ]4个小时的车程,终于到达加都。拥挤,喧闹,是加都给我的第一印象。按照LP上的指引,来到龙游背包客栈。间500尼网上介绍说是中国的背包客大多选择此地逗留.一个很安静的小院子,活指望能在这里拼到中国人一起走EBC,但是根本没有见到一个中国人 墙上写着大大中国字,但是前台的人依然一个中文也不会说,郁闷 [ ]龙游的第一个晚上,卫生间地漏有点不通,洗澡的时候水漫金山,而且晚上遭遇停电。 这在加都是司空见惯的事情. 加都给我的感觉象回到了小时候的故乡, 窄窄的街道,拥挤的楼房,很陈旧的气息弥漫在周围,当听着陌生的语言,汇入满街的尼人的洪流中的时候,才真正意识到,我已经身处异乡! 龙游的房顶成了我悠闲打发时间的好地方 [ ]泰米尔区是加都区的外国人聚集地,购物方便,有很多特色的手工艺品店。第二天实在是忍受不了龙游的昏暗和下水道不通,决定搬到“北京饭店”。“北京饭店”很不错,是一对中国夫妇开的,24小时热水,很干净。间600尼哦。一楼有个餐厅,可以吃到正宗的中国菜,这一点很令人开心!在北京饭店把去LUKLA的往返机票定好,200美金(旺季价,淡季170美金左右),回程是OPEN的。下午采购了一点山上的食物,然后去杜巴广场逛了一圈。杜巴广场,加都于我只是匆匆的路过,因为拼不到一起去LUKLA的人,我只有自己一个人前往LUKLA。北京饭店的潘老板对我自己一个人走EBC很反对,他说一个人去博卡拉没有关系,因为去博卡拉的人比较多,相对线路成熟些,但是我的假期已经快结束了,而且EBC是我这次出行的最终目的地,所以不想放弃!下午抽空给中国大使馆的郭主任打了一个电话,郭主任的想法和老潘一样,劝我还是小心一点,我道了谢,报了护照号码,并且留下了国内家里的电话。晚上把上山不需要的东西在北京饭店寄存,预约了morning call.重新把包包打好,离开拉萨藏式酒店时,店主送的哈达被我系在了包包上,希望自己一路平安。出发的那个早晨,4点30分就起床了,一脸的凝重[ ]凌晨的加德满都机场,准备飞往LUKLA,徒步的起点。一个中国人也没有看到,问了一圈,没有和我一样行程的,看来只要到LUKLA再说了。[ ]在机场,和一个英国人聊天,发现他们都在加都办了登山许可证,而我在网上得到的消息,在徒步的第二天,可以在萨珈玛塔公园大门入口处办理。这个英国人很认真的告诉我,应该要在加都办好,否则到了LUKLA有可能会被谴送回加都。天哪!本来就心里慌慌的,听了这些话,我更是忧心冲冲的。但是事实证明,我的担心是多余的,徒步的第二天,在萨珈玛塔公园大门入口处,交1000尼币,登山证就OK了。算拉,不去想这么多拉,车到山前必有路,走到哪步算哪步,最坏的打算,坐飞机鸟瞰一回喜玛拉雅也不是什么坏事。登机前。照片中最右边那个瑞典女子,也是一个人来走EBC的,后来向日葵色板官方结伴一起渡过了难忘的12天的EBC之旅。[ ]这样小的飞机,只能坐十几个人,有点吓人哦。加都鸟瞰加德满都谷地不久,飞机沿喜玛拉雅山脉的一侧飞行。去的时候最好坐在左边,回来坐右边,这样可以欣赏到壮观的喜玛拉雅山脉南麓。[ ]飞行了半小时后,飞机降落在LUKLA 机场 鲁克拉机场是由新西兰人援建的小机场,加德满都——鲁克拉的飞机都是小飞机,座20人左右。我买的是AGNI AIR航空公司的机票,往返200美金(旺季),回程是Open 的,回到鲁克拉,下午去航空公司确认第二天上午的回程就行了. 机场税170卢比;雪人(YETI Airlines)雪人据说是比较好的,飞机的班次也较多,但是,在我刚离开那个机场没多久,就有一架雪人航空公司的飞机坠毁在这个机场,机上18个来自德国准备去行山的人全部遇难。 当然这是后话,EBC线路的住宿:在LUKLA到EBC这条徒步线路上有大小30多座小村庄都建小客栈,最远间隔不超过半天的路程,可以省略露营装备,即所谓的Teahouse TREKking;客栈条件一般,不隔音,有些只提供床铺不提供毛毯,所以睡袋是必须的,随海拔的升高价格从200到500卢比之间,有部分客栈提供热水浴,价格从300-500不等,在南池有160美圆日租的豪华观景酒店Everest View Hotel ,在那里可以看到Everest(8864)峰和Ama dablam (6856)峰。 EBC线路上的餐饮:因为所有的东西全部来自山下,吃是比较贵的,主要是蛋炒面、蛋炒饭,整天与鸡蛋、土豆打交道,食物大多不可口,会吃到你崩溃为止.没有肉、没有青菜(他们不会做),只有少量的牛肉还有味道。大多的小客栈提供热饮,牛奶,红茶,柠檬水等....最贵的时候两个煎鸡蛋180卢比;燃料和饮水来自不易每升开水100卢币左右。由于水源污染,饮用水是个大问,带上消毒药片是必须的。如果准备充分的话,还是应该带上汽炉和一部分食物,自己解决一半的吃饭问,既经济又实惠! [ ]这个线路比较成熟, 一路上都有小客栈随时提供吃的和住的.这些小客栈大多以雪山为背景,你可以喝着热呼呼的奶茶对着雪山发呆,甚至,你还可以躺在床上通过你的窗户就可以看见日照金山 我不知道世界上哪里还有如此惬意的徒步路线?有时候,我觉的自己像在度假.[ ]夏尔巴背夫和向导: 目前尼泊尔大约有夏尔巴族人约36万,他们大多世代居住在尼泊尔北部靠近喜马拉雅山脉的高山地带,分高山协作向导和行山背夫两种。前者大多英语流利,有高海拔攀登经验,了解相关的地理知识,并有急救技能,这类向导往往被登山队所雇佣,费用昂贵;而行山背夫只是简单的为徒步者负重。今年行山背夫的价格500卢币-700卢币(含食宿)不等,背包的质量不超过50公斤。大多数的夏尔巴背夫不会英语,但是如果背夫懂英语的话,费用将节省一半,在LUKLA,如果你不急着赶路,耐下心来,可以找到既懂英语又能背包的夏尔巴背夫 关于徒步地图 Trekking MAP : 在加都任何一间书店你都能买到制作精良的Trekking MAP,这些大多来自欧洲,售价比较昂贵。一张EVEAEST的Trekking MAP买到300-500尼币,相当于人民币30-50元。每张地图都详细注了徒步线路的地理信息。据不完全统计,尼泊尔境内,有超过70条徒步线路供徒步者选择。 这里的一切都和EVEREST(珠峰)息息相关! 畅销书 《通往世界的尽头---- 一个探险摄影家的冒险之旅》 高山救援: 整个孔布地区有最好的高山救援队,来自各地甚至国外的医护人员以志愿者 的身份轮换工作。海拔最高的季节性诊所开到了海拔4300米的Pheriche(费里 切);紧急情况下,高山直升救援机可以从EBC大本营将病人接送至加都,但收费高达6000美圆。 关于登山证: 在进入萨加玛塔国家公园大门时,需要在这里办理登山证,费用1000卢比。国家公园大门从左边这个小门廊进去办理登山证公园还设有专门的网站,提供更多的徒步信息!登山证[ ]OK!开始我的第一天行程(彩色的部分)D1,加德满都机场——LUKLA(鲁克拉)(2840米)---—Thado Koshi Gaon(2800)午餐—Phakding(2610米)(徒步3小时,准-,海拔略有下降) 4点30在北京饭店被MORNING CALL叫醒,6点的飞机,简单洗漱,冲到楼下,店小二睡眼惺松的帮我开了门,我问他,帮我叫好的车在哪里?他回答: NO CAR!天哪,黑灯瞎火的,这怎么办!街道空无一人,一个车也木有,好象是前一天有罢工活动,难不成都不开工!叫小二走远点再帮我看看是否有车,10分钟后还是未果,看来等在酒店门口不可能等到车车了,于是,背上包,冲到大街上,几乎还是看到一辆车,真叫人绝望啊。又等了十几分钟,终于看到一个小车,因为没有路灯,又生怕司机看不到我,于是奋力的呼喊,拼命的奔跑冲过路中心的隔离带,终于拦截成功。和司机说了去机场后,终于送了一口气。其实在车子开往机场的路上,心里有点担心,说实话,我根本不知道司机会带我去哪里,万一被带去一个不知道的地方,或者被打劫什么的,那岂不是要完完!于是,开始和司机套近乎,建立一些信任,总归是好的!唉,一个人出来就是这点不好!5点15到机场,飞机搞到6点半才起飞, 半小时到LUKLA。今天的行程是要从LUKLA到Phakding。[ ]([]
第二次在8264上发帖找伴,临行前两个礼拜,才发的帖,详见召集帖https//bbs.8264.com/thread-1204496-3-1.html,急匆匆组了队。其实对我这样的懒人而言,实在是因为赶不上4.6小豆他们的队,而我又刚好要赶在4月底前赶回成都,这个时段找遍8264,绿野,磨房都没有合适的队伍跟,悲催!看来只有硬起头皮自己来,其实我是多么多么的希望有组织可以依靠,而我只需要走,不停的往前走,那才是我要的幸福户外生活。 而且发帖,从一开始准备走贡嘎,我也就准备了只留点照片在空间占个位,没事了自己看看,留给关注的朋友看看,就没想过要发帖。对我而言,发帖是一件多么悲惨的,饱受折磨的事情。花那么多时间码字,回忆,整理照片,坐在电脑前,我会发狂的。从玩户外这么多年,05年开始的,我就写过两篇帖子,但是只有一篇是写完的,另一篇就半途夭折了。而且都是在转山的路上就已经用日记的方式写在了纸上了,回来只是打上去,配点照片。出发贡嘎以后,从一出发时就安排了我们的小美女,还是在校大学生的小许负责本次的游记。但是,现在我一定要写,而且还要坐在电脑前凭借回忆原原本本的写上去。 以上啰嗦了那么多,就是因为有些话,我不得不说,不吐不快,所以我不得不写。先介绍下向日葵色板官方的队友。 小许 远近 谢雨 土狼 土狼+1 万里,可惜我这没有他的单人照,后面唯一的一张合影有他的一点影子,队友们有他照片的帮我贴吧。还有说明一下,我们成队为了包车方便是五个人,土狼和+1是他们先一天就到了老榆林,但是向日葵色板官方出发前就有联系,觉得可以一块走就等齐一块,其实是他们两兄弟在前面等着向日葵色板官方,辛苦了。 蔚蓝 闲话少说,向日葵色板官方来边图边叙。 一进到日乌且沟不久,就见到了传说中的红石滩,一个一个的红石滩,或深或浅,间断分隔。自然的和外面人工的就是不一样! 每天起床有太阳照着是多么幸福的时光,连那个影子都那么绚丽,这丝丝缕缕的阳光,让我想起向日葵色板官方翻过日乌且垭口后的那一晚,那一日,向日葵色板官方就在大雪纷飞中拔足狂奔。 而事后想起来,矛盾就是从第一晚的扎帐开始的。我的想法是向日葵色板官方从水电站开始徒步,大致一个小时左右就可以到格西草原扎帐,向日葵色板官方的攻略上也是这样安排的。向日葵色板官方晚上800从水电站出发,走了大约半个钟,在一个平台处,万里先是说他上去打望下,我本来在前面领路走的,然后就是大家在等他下来,10分钟左右他来了,然后就说今晚不走了,就在这扎吧,我把我的意思和大家说明了一下,然后表明我不算是领队,大家按户外的规矩投票吧,那边谢雨最先举起了手同意就地扎帐,然后是小许,我看了看远近,她没说话,我说那就扎吧。当晚下车的时候我就觉得头沉,过远近帐篷和大家沟通了下我就回帐篷睡了。 沟通挺搞笑的。明天继续! 继续向日葵色板官方出发第一晚的沟通,全队五个人,三男二女,我简单地介绍了下向日葵色板官方的行程,计划,再次和大家确认下,这里面谢雨和小许算是新驴,也是第一次走长线和第一次高海拔徒步,远近是爬过雪山的老驴,也就是我眼中的雪山派,万里,老驴,据他介绍是深圳登协的,俱乐部商业领队。蔚蓝,老驴,第一次带队走这样的长线。这次大家出来,我不是领队,首先要申明,我只是自己想走这条线,约几个朋友一起走,好玩,也可以分摊车费。其次,大家出来户外,尤其像向日葵色板官方这种重装徒步的,大家一定要了解自己。明天22号向日葵色板官方的目是上日乌且,23号翻垭口到磨西沟,24号冬季牧场,25号贡嘎寺,26号中午上木居,已经和多吉大叔约好了他们的小面包26号中午11点左右在那接向日葵色板官方,定金都已经放了,订车也是大家在老榆林就集体同意的。万里接上说,那要在子梅垭口住一晚。我看了一圈大家,没人有异议,那就稍微修改下,24号赶到贡嘎寺,25号子梅垭口扎帐,其他的不变,这一趟,我关注三个点,日乌且垭口,贡嘎寺,子梅垭口,其他的无所谓。从攻略上来看,明后天会比较辛苦。还有就是遇上大家有分歧的地方,向日葵色板官方大家投票选择,我说完了。 接下来就是万里同学,他说,首先,蔚蓝是向日葵色板官方的总领队,大家有什么事,要听从安排。其次,高海拔徒步,可能每个人高反情况不同,走到哪儿算哪,向日葵色板官方是出来玩的。当时听了那话,我第一感觉就是向日葵色板官方五个人的小队,什么总领队!未必还要整一排的副领队什么的。还有向日葵色板官方是重装穿越,什么走哪就算哪,那向日葵色板官方还做计划干嘛,还重装干嘛!在我眼里,重装就意味着能吃苦,想吃苦,以苦为乐,起码那个几天是。只是当时这些话没去说而已!当时就再次重复了没有领队这个说法,向日葵色板官方大家一起玩,只是前期攻略我在做而已,大家还是按投票做选择。万里听我那么说,又提了个:那大家就试下每个人轮流一天做领队,让大家体验下做领队的辛苦。我当时就没接那个话。心想,这个领队有什么权力嘛?一天到晚都在赶路看风景,有分歧了也是大家投票。而且让两个新人去做领队!完了我就回帐去睡了,我睡的是万里的帐,他们四个在远近的帐里接着海聊。这儿还有个小插曲,当时扎下帐时,我就和万里说,你要抽烟,尽量到外面抽,我不喜欢闻烟味。万里是把烟枪,他听了就跑远近帐去抽了,抽到多晚回来的?反正我早睡着了。到了行程的后面,远近一直策蔚蓝睡的帐,坐的车是不能抽烟的!说到我也觉得自己有点过分一样,把他从自己的帐篷里赶出去一样,其实我没赶哦!几个人无聊枯糙的走在沟中,一走就是两天,偶尔回头望望,就一直是这几个山峰垛那儿,听那个雪山派美女一直说说,后面最高的是什么田海子峰,是她的下一个目。我貌似没一点印象,哈哈,除了穿越贡嘎,我们道不同! 传说中的虫草,可别只找到美女哦 小荷才露尖尖角,小贡嘎 阳光如此多娇,引无数白云竟折腰 从向日葵色板官方扎帐的地方出发十几分钟就到了格西草原 经过格西草原后不远,向日葵色板官方追上了前面的土狼哥俩,从这两队变一队,向日葵色板官方变成七人队。 还有从出发地就一起走过来的两位当地挖虫草的村民,一路和他们聊过来,他们也是认为现在过垭口,难。而且向日葵色板官方今天要赶到上日乌且,不可能。 17:30,我们终于到了下日乌且处的一处废弃的牛棚处,只剩下半围的一堆石头了。万里提议今天不走了,小许有点高反,头晕。其实这时候离天黑还有老长一段时间,向日葵色板官方对下日乌且也没有明确的地。攻略上称从下到上日乌且还需2个小时,如果这儿算下日乌且,向日葵色板官方今天完全可以按计划赶到的。我说,大家看看吧,如果今天扎帐在下日乌且,那明天向日葵色板官方翻垭口前的体力消耗将会很大,而且时间上对向日葵色板官方也挺不利,我们必须赶在中午时间翻垭口。而且前面是什么状况,垭口前垭口后是什么状况,向日葵色板官方没有人走过,所以尽量多留足点余地给自己。大家都比较纠结,土狼那边那个兄弟,体力也比较不乐观,因为体重的缘故,他上到高原喘得厉害,土狼给他从两岔河租个马到下日乌且,牧民就问他要了五百,其实攻略上这也就一个多钟的路程。但是这哥们精神很乐观,他随向日葵色板官方,向日葵色板官方走,他也走,向日葵色板官方扎,他们也扎。问关键还是回到向日葵色板官方这,我建议大家考虑后面的路情,尽量赶到上日乌且,但是万里提出不走了,而小谢和小许无条件的跟他的意见,远近无所谓,不发表意见,我随大家吧。只能如此! 当夜因为有土狼他们带的腊肉,向日葵色板官方这边貌似都带的干粮,我带的鱼啊肉的都是那种超市买的包装的,对那种家用的有天然的亲近感,我很自然的就跑那边撑肉吃去了。小谢,小许和万里三个人在谢雨的帐篷那边弄饭吃,向日葵色板官方四个围在远近的帐篷里烧肉吃。今天晚上我都头痛有越来越厉害的趋势,让我想起EBC的几个观景点的苦痛,脑门两边使劲往脑袋中间挤,这样的头痛就是我的高反的典型代表。土狼的席梦思抬了一个放在帐篷里,我坐在里面,身体挺舒服,比他们任何一个都要舒服吧!但是头痛。土狼和他兄弟在折腾肉和面,我和远近就等吃就ok,玩户外这么长,似乎凡事都在亲力亲为,没享受过这种待遇一样,只是现在才反省过来的。外面慢慢的下起雪粒子,越来越大,后面又转成雨,尤其是晚上我回帐篷睡了,耳听着外面的雨转变成瓢泼大雨,担心扎在坡上的远近的A塔被水泡,防潮垫和睡袋全被水泡,那觉可真没法睡了,让万里大声叫应她,万一不行就大家挤好了,只是没有一点回声,雨的声音太大。 是夜,因为雨雪,因为有啤酒,因为有美女,向日葵色板官方四个好像聊了很多很多,聊到很晚了大家都不肯散一样。而关于明天关于贡嘎的,大家心头都沉着呢,估计不乐观,向日葵色板官方转回老榆林泡温泉算。 早上照例是小谢和万里最先起来,他们两个真的好精神,在外面转了一圈又一圈,向日葵色板官方还在睡着呢!向日葵色板官方都喜欢睡到太阳晒帐篷,睡袋,才有想爬出来的精神。 他们两个兜完了,来到帐篷前,外面昨晚下好厚的一层雪,估计垭口上,路上又平添一层。万里提议可能日乌且垭口过不了,改走盘盘山垭口,小谢也建议这样。我听了,认为这样不妥,第一我们没做盘盘山的攻略,第二,那边时间会比现在的路线多两天时间,向日葵色板官方的干粮和时间都不够。而且,从整队的行进速度的随心所欲,和昨晚恶劣的天气,我都只想下撤到老榆林泡着了。他们认为盘盘山应该只有一条路,而且刚好有一队重庆驴友走盘盘山,但是我认为盘盘山怎么可能只有一条路,哪座山都绝不止一条路,这个太冒险。而重庆队有租马,向日葵色板官方重装是没有办法跟得上的。如果大家不走日乌且,我就选择下撤,想走盘盘山的就跟万里走吧,但是我建议你们到两岔河租马,有马就有向导。当时三个人的小碰头就是这样了,结果就是他们两种选择,盘盘山和下撤,我的选择:日乌且和下撤。 等到大家都起来了,我提议大家都思考一下,向日葵色板官方下一步怎么弄。这时,万里同学很激动的说,他今天上午哪里都不去了,挖虫草去!顺便休整!我还未及吭声,平时不怎么表态的远近高兴地附和道,那我去你帐篷里睡觉去,昨晚一点都没睡好。小谢和小许一看,说那也挖虫草去,我说,你们要挖,要休息,你们呆着,我下撤!说完大家散了,万里和小许挖虫草去了,小谢去沟里拍照片。 1050分,蔚蓝,远近,和土狼兄弟两向日葵色板官方四个继续上路往日乌且垭口进发。至于事情结局为什么又发生了这么大的改变,请继续关注! 一路向日乌且垭口,只是图片上的不是向日葵色板官方,而是挖虫草的村民,这时节去,家家户户都上山挖去了,要找个司机,向导之类的,可费老劲了。 在下日乌且,发生了最滑稽最重大的一幕,向日葵色板官方七个人的队伍分成两队,一队在原地挖虫草,一队继续向日乌且垭口进发,向日葵色板官方四个整装重新出发,将近夭折的贡嘎穿越走出最坚实的那步 就在这雪地里撒把野 上完长长地碎石坡,是一个小垭口,一路顺着小水沟向前,就到了路书上小豆他们扎帐的巨石旁了,此时,大雪纷飞,我们四个队形严谨。 再往前,就是日乌且沟的尽头,远处连绵的就是日乌且峰和----。 未到山前,向日葵色板官方就要从右侧的山坡上往上往前横切了,爬升正式开始 上垭口前的最后见证人,专职挖虫草,他介绍的和小豆路书上的差不多,垭口雪到了大腿,估计很难过,建议不要去了。看我们那么坚决,告诉我们翻过前面那个小雪坡,再到视线尽头那个大雪坡,后面就是垭口,大雪坡前都有他的脚印,让向日葵色板官方跟着走。到此,看来一切都对得上,我的心稍安定一点。 一路上坡横切,间或会是灌木丛,日乌且沟慢慢掉在了脚下,小贡嘎也慢慢成为了背影 向日葵色板官方需要穿越左侧的雪地,才能爬上左侧的小雪坡,所以小,是因为她后面的更大,我们走近她时,看不到头顶和脚下出路在何方!只有上面,还是上面。这时的天,和纷飞大雪似乎一点关系都没有 路,就在脚下。 向日葵色板官方就一直坐在这,傻傻的等。从1520一直到1700,等着土狼他们两个上来,其间甚至发生了几轮激烈地争执。远近的观点是大家是一个队,就要等齐了一起走,前面就是雪线了。我则坚持,土狼他朋友在下面沟里已经是疲惫不堪地跟,这回一上坡准没戏了,估计这一趟就是向日葵色板官方两个的事了,你要上,我们就上,你要不上了,我更不上了。远近还是坚持就算他们不上了,也该上来和向日葵色板官方说声。这道理俺懂,俺也知道,这个结果,七个人的队,只剩下向日葵色板官方两个上去,就算过不去,起码向日葵色板官方去试了,很难让自己心里接受!但是大好下午的一个多小时,不就是最好的证明!向日葵色板官方实在是不能再等下去了!要么下撤到沟底和他们一起下撤,要么就是往前,尽量往前,再找合适的地儿扎帐。只是拗不过她的殷殷期盼,我只有轻装回头去找土狼他们两个,回头近300—400m,是一处高台,在那几乎可以望到沟底,扫视,呼喊,毫无反应。就这样,她彻底绝望了,向日葵色板官方才重新上路。后来下山后和土狼联系上,确实是他朋友走不动了,决定放弃,下撤到沟底,我们的呼喊他们能够听到,只是他们的回应向日葵色板官方听不到,风大,逆风。 看上去,向日葵色板官方离沟底是多么多么的近,但是向日葵色板官方走上来,很辛苦,甚至和土狼他们连告别的话都没能说上 雪地上徒步,让我想起在Cho La Par,我最不擅长的就是这个,一会会的工夫,已是脚发软,不知是走雪地特费劲,还是心里鸭梨山大,而且这个小雪坡的雪已经比那个垭口的雪厚得多了。我是男人,当然得我来开路! 雪坡上来了只是后面的还是雪坡。我们不知道后面等着的会是什么?更糟的是,挖虫草人的足迹慢慢地就没了,在白茫茫而刺眼的雪坡中向日葵色板官方迷失了方向,只记得往上,往上。 前面的坡太陡,向日葵色板官方已经折腾了一天,向日葵色板官方得省着点,选择横切,希望可以绕到垭口前 左侧,沟的对面就是万古不化的冰川,在阳光下呈蓝色,不时会有轰然塌落的巨响([

后记前置:离开农大林场返回鸟市,需要经过庙尔沟乡。我坐在于杰车靠里的一个涂料桶上,紧靠着后面的包,在坑洼的道路上颠得身体各零件都叮啷响。大多时候都闭着眼,心里没有喜悦,亦无重压忽释的失重感。而是一阵虚无,空荡荡地虚无。遂想起鳌太之行之后的心情,与如今完全不同。沿着前辈们的足迹,历练一番,仅此而已。虽假寐,但思维却是活跃的,第六感如蛛丝般向四面八方延伸开去,触摸那破败却热闹的乡屯,随路边大喇叭里节奏明快的维族手鼓颤抖,体味咿咿呀呀歌声里的别样风情;触及了头屯河滩上那一树树怒燃的金枝,如果让黄叶折换成人的感情流露的话,那么这些杨树必是酒到微醺,胸怀豪迈的大笑;触及了赭色荒坡上的芨芨草、盐生草和垂头丧气的土豆们,它们像路边那个修车工一样,艳阳之下发着怔。触丝继续延伸,心怀怜悯地俯瞰着、抚摸着这支离破碎的天山北麓,这些干涸的台地,残留着乌孙故国的驼桩,栽着汉唐屯边的玉米,哈萨克人的先祖打着呼哨,手执弯刀,呼啸着奔到巴尔喀什湖以西。而斜阳里,张骞执节缓辔,驱万千牛羊,牤牛黑如缎,绵羊白似雪,像云团般滚过千万年冰冷清冽的天山河溪东来,自此,茫茫戈壁、数千里天山,立起高牙大纛,归了汉家版图。闻道寻源使,从天此路回。牵牛去几许?宛马至今来!那是辉煌耀眼如“昆莫”的时代啊!转而马蹄声乱,金戈悲鸣,狼藉的时空碎片反复交织,溅落在天山南北的千沟万壑里,晃动着蒙古人的骁骑,荧惑出波罗尼都的刀锋,兵燹里雪莲开了又败,浓烟中云杉耸入苍穹。这天山年复一年,流淌着清澈若无的乳汁,养得这片天下男子骁勇精干,女子皓齿明眸,瓜果甘甜如醴,牛羊肥壮似膏腴……萦绕……萦绕……无数画面在萦绕,然后一切复归虚无,恰似一枕烂柯。10个人,11天,彳亍奔波,个中滋味,各自胸中翻腾,必有惊涛骇浪之势,但相比身后云颠里的群峰、眼前这雄浑苍凉的五彩台地,恰似白驹过隙,刹那烟火,如达坂间腾起的荒尘般,微不足道。行者如蚁,更辽阔的天地,还在远方。可以直接跳至具体行程的某一天浏览,谢谢D1:24楼D2:91楼D3:119楼D4:168楼D5:287楼D6:315楼D7:521楼D8:605楼D9:665楼D10:729楼D11:774楼 活动总结:托苍天之福,给予了连续11天不冷不暖的良好天气,让我等安全进入,平安撤出。太冷则过河遭罪,宿营遭罪。太暖则融雪加剧、河水加大,不冷不热,实乃天助。暗道一声:侥幸!惭愧!托前人之福,公开了大量的资讯并提供成熟轨迹,让我等追随前辈们的脚印,得以完成,感谢你们的话好几TV。托后方队友、亲人之福,始终给予向日葵色板官方强大的支撑,致谢!本次活动最终成行10人,于9月21日在乌鲁木齐集结,于22日进入白杨沟开始徒步,第5天,登上蒙特开增达坂之后,队员漫步者因急需赶回鸟市,离队加速前进,于9.27日抵达C线终点,辗转巴伦台、和静县城去鸟市与家属汇合。其余9人于第6日翻乌兰达坂转入V线,最终于10.2日中午1330抵达位于昌吉市庙尔沟乡的农大林场。平安顺利地完成了整个穿越。行程概述:9.22,1130 抵达白杨沟大油罐处,开始徒步。1830抵达预定营地扎营;9.23,930拔营,15点抵达白杨沟达坂,1930左右全体抵达预定营地;9.24,920 后队拔营,过河无数,20:00左右抵达库勒阿特腾达坂下的预定营地;9.25,1000 后队开始攀登库勒阿特腾达坂,15:00全部登顶库坂,2030后队抵达D4预定营地;9.26,930 后队拔营出发前往蒙特开增达坂,1550,全部登上蒙塔开增达坂,18点因故提前于规划线路的D5营地扎营,未能抵达目小木屋营地;9.27,910 后队拔营,1230抵达乌兰达坂起点,20点后队翻越夏热达坂抵达牧民家吃羊;9.28,930 后队拔营前往绿湖,18:00后队抵达绿湖;9.29,1000 后队出发,1200,翻越乌拉布图达坂,1530抵达三屯河岔口,决定提前扎营;9.30,1000 后队出发,16点,抵达天格尔达坂脚下,提前扎营;10.1,800 全队拔营,10点前队登上天格尔达坂,后队错路,1510,前队翻越乔楞格尔达坂,1600,前队提前翻过最后一个达坂穿出头屯河谷扎营,后队于20点抵达乔楞格尔原定营地扎营;10.2,1030 每个人的运动机能和技能都各不相同,团队,需要的是取长补短,优势互补,任何一个细节的疏忽和失误,都会给整个团队增加意外风险。因此,出发之前就需要像军工厂的安全等级一样把安全警报指数提到5A级别。向日葵色板官方的做法是出发前捋顺清单,将清单提交大家讨论,逐个核实装备的可靠程度。毕竟自己的能力非常有限,没有能力装牛逼深知NB和SB,就是一字之差。成王败寇。自然法则。每个人都根据自己的现有装备状况,在“安全、周全、UL、经济适用”的理念下逐个更新升级,确保自己狗皮包袱里的物件没有多余的,也不会物资短缺。没有能力像8264的诸多资深玩家一样,UL到极致,仅是尽己所能了,出发之前基础装备重量为17505克(包含相机及配件),保温壶灌满水之后增加800克。最终在乌鲁木齐重新打包后幺重,出门前总重22kg。后增加了一公斤葡萄干,到呼图壁之后买了5个馕背着,其实全程仅吃下大半个,其余队友瓜分。到了白杨沟煤矿后,增加了一包红糖。事后证明这包红糖给予我非常大的帮助。每天到营地先烧热水,煮红糖,结合宝矿力粉,然后有一口没一口地慢慢喝,对自身的运动后的身体恢复起到了极其关键的作用。有的人认为运动后急切饮用大量水会造成水中毒,比如浮肿、器官胀痛等等,是有一定道理的。各人身体机能不同,我庆幸自己没有排水这个问,因此大量饮水并没有出现过不适症状。关于户外食品的问,向日葵色板官方是按照各自口味需求分头准备,继续延续单兵装备全套准备的理念,避免出现因意外导致人和装备、食品出现分离的情况。食品在徒步活动中最重要的营养和够热量。这个在队友芽子的鳌太帖子里有相关论述。鳌太——"侥幸"走过,妹子的十一SOLOhttps//bbs.8264.com/thread-1896840-1-1.html关于线路的信息点,可以参考队友海舌的精确纪录天空湛蓝阳光晴朗-记金秋狼C+V的日子(11日行程已更完)https//bbs.8264.com/thread-1902972-1-1.html另外,还要追求饱腹感和口感,尤其是我对口感非常挑剔,出发之前,我不断强调了口感良好的食物对精神的抚慰作用。这个观念是来源于大神杨柳松的羌塘穿越,看到他在后期对每一瓣蒜的渴望,对吃糌粑粉的放纵,令人震撼!是的,食品在极度单调的环境下,是内心信念和安全感的很大一部分来源。单糖和多糖、碳水化合物、蛋白质、维生素、纤维素、无机盐,缺一不可。我按照45000卡路里的总值来准备这12天的食品,指导思想是满足大运动量的热量需求,并还有所冗余,以备不时之需。出发之前食品准备按照这些简单的理念来准备,就不会没有头绪,眉毛胡子一把抓,乱七八糟背一大堆冗余的食物,那是要把自己玩残的征兆。绝大部分食品在上图中了。其中士力架搞多了,带了九小块,仅吃了一块。晚餐:肉类准备了12份腊肉,腊肉亚硝酸盐多,并不是理想食材,但优点是好保存。辅材干蘑菇、干木耳、干白菜,主食:14份熟化米;早餐:自己配置的高能粉末,气得咬牙切齿的事情是,炒制过程中收快递,结果糊了,导致每天早餐像吃耗子药;午餐:少量馕,呼图壁买了五个馕背着,结果全程只吃了大半个。路上能源补充依靠大量葡萄干、巴旦木。呼市购买了一公斤葡萄干,实际消耗约400克,第六天留了一半给牧民。剩下的出山竟然还有少量。调剂:儿童钙锌挂面,因为捡了两瓶辣酱,面条奇迹般地好吃,早晚都忍不住煮一点,(面条携带采用脉动瓶装,避免垃圾产生),结局是面条严重紧缺,原本准备了九天量,结果翻过蒙特开增达坂就吃完了。在绿湖又接受了小伙多余的一包面,分了一半给海舌,一直吃到出山。 ——有一阵子,我和旅途在群里常用这句话做聊天开场白。(下面这段话并无恶意,请信宗教的朋友多多原谅。)“地是空虚混沌。渊面黑暗。神的灵运行在水面上。”神说,要有小浣熊,就有了小浣熊。神看天山是好的,就把天山分开了。神称东天山那条线,为博格达环线,称中天山那疙瘩,为狼塔。有C线,有V线,这是头一日。………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………起初,大家仅仅是动心狼塔C线的穿越,因为队友们继鳌太之后,需要再次安排假期,并且一请就是8天,这对于任何一个抠抠索索给员工发薪水的老板来说都是罪不可赦的无耻行径。可期盼的假期就是国庆了。因此初步计划了几个假期自由的队友先去尝试一下博格达的徒步线路。谁知道,队友们八仙过海各显小灵通,纷纷施展三寸不烂之干锅鸭舌,神奇滴搞定了假期。我和我的小伙伴们全都惊呆了。啥也别说了,直接C+V吧,这样省心,从拉练到物资准备、行前功课都好协调。博格达只好安排在下次了,也许下次拜访天堂湖的时候吧。端午鳌太学习总结了很多有用的经验,本次行程在鳌太的基础上进一步进行了优化。装备和食品的UL化,是重中之重,深知保护膝关节,呵护自家老腰是未来能走得更远的前提。因此基础装备都在拼命地轻量化。行程规划了11天,加上应急食品,食物需求量是鳌太穿越的2倍;基础装备按照-15°来准备,比起鳌太增加了许多重量,但团队还是规划了一条总体负重红线:20kg。大家就照着这条红线去努力,虽然没有全部做到,但有效地控制了整体负重。在此特别阐明一个观点,那就是无效负重的“蝴蝶效应”。假如你出发前随意往包里多塞了一双50克的袜子,那么你就要在接下来的11天内消耗50克袜子不断爬升下降11个单位日的能量。而产生这些能量的来源是食物,因此你需要多背负11倍50克物体做功消耗的食品,每个人的能量转换效率各不一样,假如你的能量转化率低于平均值,意味着你的食物消耗量更大。更不要忘了,将这些并不需要的食物转化成能量,你需要燃料来烹调,需要水来进行化合作用。要么同时增加燃料背负,要么面临能源危机。而在大运动量的条件之下,因为无效负重产生的多余食物摄入带来的化合作用,将增加人体的器官负荷和代谢压力,影响身体恢复的进度,进一步影响第二天的行走……无效负重过多的行程,就是一出悲剧。你不是旅途,你不会持续制造查克拉。 飞过大洋来看你办完租车手续后,上楼提车。不一会儿功夫,向日葵色板官方便驾着一辆八成新的JEEP驶出租车区,正式开始向日葵色板官方的美国自驾行。向日葵色板官方在国内已预先在某宝买了TomTom的导航仪以及美国AT&T的手机卡,选的流量套餐是:高速流量4GB(4G/3G网速)+无限流量(2G网速)。美国虽比中国发达,但手机网络的覆盖率和速度则不敢恭维。AT&T是美国网络覆盖率最广信号最好的运营商,但即使是AT&T,在很多区域仍然没有信号,比如一号公路的部分路段、大峡谷国家公园、Page。。。后来在美西路上驾驶时,时不时没有网络信号,向日葵色板官方也渐渐习以为常。所以,想在美国自驾,只依赖手机Google地图是不行的,必须配备一个GPS,没有网络时依然可以导航。所以,我买的这个手机卡,即使向日葵色板官方在美国呆了整整27天,同时开热点给蟋蟀头使用,但因为美西的部分地区无信号,所以回国时,手机卡仍有很多流量。刚上车的心情,愉悦中带着兴奋,但开出取车区没多久,匝道太多,不熟悉,来不及换道,蟋蟀头便开错道了,绕了好大一圈,才终于驶上正道。出道不顺,却丝毫没影响向日葵色板官方心情。“刚开始嘛,等我熟悉一下就好,” 蟋蟀头的心态永远比我要好,不像我,容易着急。我预先订好的酒店位于旧金山市中心的联合广场附近,距离旧金山机场车程20分钟左右。一路高速公路,倒是方便快捷,只是进入市区后,道路开始复杂起来,特别是酒店附近,单行道很多,车道开错,又得重来,所以,向日葵色板官方竟在酒店外绕了两三圈,才终于在酒店对面的停车场停好车。旧金山市区的车道虽然复杂,却极为有趣,特别是向日葵色板官方酒店所处区域,坡度很大,道路极陡,不便驾驶,却很刺激。酒店不大,小巧干净,胜在位置极佳。前台为向日葵色板官方办理check in手续的年轻男子又长着一张华裔面孔,这有点让我感叹,旧金山的华人还真是多啊,向日葵色板官方初抵美国不久,从入境、租车到酒店check in,工作人员竟都是华裔,不过,这个华裔会说中文,而且说得还较好,应该在美国的时间不长。酒店房间稍旧,但还算干净,只不过床头柜上的电话居然如此复古,让向日葵色板官方有点意想不到。即使在中国,也很少见到这样的电话了。 行李放好后,稍微梳洗,我们便准备出门了,去圣荷西Soe Jose会小美丽。初抵美国的几小时 ,见到太多华裔,真有点怀疑这是美国吗?直到出门时,抬头,看见高高的楼上飘扬着的星条旗,嗯 ,向日葵色板官方的确已经在美国了。 去圣荷西的车程1小时,我有点后悔,应该把这第一晚的酒店订在圣荷西,而非旧金山。开车出发时已是下午5点过,路途中,小美丽打来电话,“向日葵色板官方还是去圣荷西的REI碰头吧,今天是周日,REI晚上7点就要关门,如果你们来我家,向日葵色板官方再去REI,会来不及了。”REI是美国,甚至是全球最大的户外用品店,玩户外的人,到了美国,怎能不去逛REI?甚至于,REI对向日葵色板官方的吸引力比outlets还要大。可以不去逛Outlets,但绝不能不去逛REI。REI在美国有上百家门店,圣荷西这家门店规模不算大,远不及旧金山市区的那家REI。但当时留给向日葵色板官方shopping的时间仅半小时,即使门店不算大,但对于这半小时来说也太大了。店里的户外用品琳琅满目,让向日葵色板官方目不睱接,所幸旅程结束时还有机会去旧金山的REI购物,否则,只留半小时给REI,会让向日葵色板官方悔青了肠子。小美丽说,向日葵色板官方是有多爱户外啊,在美国的第一张合影,居然就是在户外店。 离开REI,小美丽和男友Amir带我俩去吃饭。向日葵色板官方来到一个类似于酒吧的典型美式餐厅,餐厅内响着热闹的音乐,四面墙上挂满电视,正播放着各类节目,以体育赛事为主。Amir说想请向日葵色板官方吃最正宗的美式美食,而汉堡和鸡翅就是美国年青人的最爱。意想不到的是,美国人竟爱吃辣,而辣鸡翅就是这家餐厅的主打。小美丽知道向日葵色板官方嗜辣,尤其蟋蟀头,无辣不成菜,所以特地点了最辣的鸡翅,连服务员也再三与她确认,“确定要点重辣吗?”一大篮辣鸡翅端上来,辣是足够辣,但辣得太直接,除了辣,还是少了许多滋味,不像四川的麻辣、湖南的香辣或者贵州的酸辣。就美食来说,美国当然无法与中国相比。原以为向日葵色板官方会难以忍受美国单调的饮食,但没想到,向日葵色板官方在美国的27天里,虽吃得简单,却津津有味,不觉厌烦。蟋蟀头爱上了牛排,而我则爱上了可乐。一般来说,去一个国家旅行,如果适应了当地的饮食,便没什么不能适应了。 Amir是小美丽读书时跑步认识的,对她一见钟情。与她一样,喜欢运动,热爱户外。彼时向日葵色板官方四人吃饭时他还是她的男朋友,待向日葵色板官方美西玩了一圈,回国后,他们已注册结婚,成为她的先生。可能小美丽自己也没想到,她的姻缘会发生在地球的另一半。但其实啊,这世间所有的情缘,其实都是恰逢其时,早有安排。 D2(9月21日)旧金山—蒙特雷—卡梅尔—大苏尔第一次自助加油,101刀?按计划,今天会沿一号公路,从旧金山开到圣西蒙。沿途会经过的小镇有:Pacifica——半月弯Half moon Bay——santa cruz —— 蒙特雷Monterey——17 Mile Drive——卡梅尔Carmel——大苏尔Big Sur——圣西蒙SanSimeon,其中红字的是一号公路上的精华点,需停车游玩。车程6小时,加上游玩拍照时间2-3小时,预计全程8-9小时,只要早上9点出发,这一天的行程应该是绰绰有余。绰绰有余,其实是我想得太美。计划就是计划,而变化永远会比计划要多。早上9点, 向日葵色板官方已经在酒店check out,准备上路了。这个时间出发,尚在可控中。蟋蟀头没有赖床不起,让我甚为满意。 酒店对面有一个公共停车场public parking,向日葵色板官方的车就停在那里。一晚的停车费$26.74,在酒店前台缴费。前一天停车时,告知工作人员向日葵色板官方住对面酒店,停车场便出具了一张单子,让向日葵色板官方在酒店缴费盖章,然后便可以停一天一夜。.74,好贵的停车费,但如果不是住对面酒店,估计停车费用更贵。照美国这种停车费准来看,中国的停车费还大有上涨空间。好在美国只是城市内要收停车费,国家公园是不收停车费的,否则向日葵色板官方这自驾27天,停车费都是好大一笔数字。此时停车场外已排成长队。我一边排队,一边心里嘀咕着,怎么取车也要排队?9点过的加州阳光,已经毒辣得人睁不开眼。我傻乎乎地排队十多分钟后,忽然想起,这停车场里好像有一个租车office,会不会有可能这些排队的人是为租车,而非停车场取车?我走到最前面一看,果然不出所料,停车场里有一个Alamo的租车办公室,难怪这里会排成长队。有点后悔刚才自己不闻不问,就开始傻傻地排队,但也庆幸,仅排队十多分钟而已,没有浪费一小时才发现原来站错队。耽误了半小时,上午930,我俩终于妥妥地坐在车里,把Pacifica设置为向日葵色板官方的第一个导航点,便出发,正式开始向日葵色板官方的美西自驾行。但这一天正值美国的工作日,旧金山市区内拥堵的车流,再次出乎我预料。google地图显示的只需25分钟即可抵达Pacifica,看来是不可能了。向日葵色板官方的车跟在有轨电车叮叮车的后面,缓慢地行驶着。慢摇慢晃的叮叮车,让向日葵色板官方生出极大兴趣,决定待回程时一定要坐一趟叮叮车。实际上,穿行于闹市区的叮叮车早已不仅仅是单纯的交通工具,而成为旧金山的一大风景,是来旧金山的游客必定会体验的项目之一。 堵车、单行道、对路不熟,这几项加起来,导致我俩开着车在市区内兜了好几转才终于开出旧金山,蟋蟀头开玩笑说,他现在已对旧金山的路非常熟悉了。在Pacific找加油站加油时,才发现时间已经过去了整整一个半小时。而这原本应该是计划中的20分钟车程!之前看攻略,发现大家都喜欢到加油站所属小超市里找店员,付现加油,主要是因为自助加油刷信用卡时,很多时候需要输入美国当地的5位数ZIP CODE,向日葵色板官方国内的信用卡,哪有什么美国邮编啊,所以无法自助加油。但第一次加油,我仍想体验下自助加油,万一可以刷卡呢?美国的汽油分为Regular、Plus、Premium三种,一般选Regular(87)即可。加油机上有操作说明,简单易懂。把信用卡插入后,快速拉出,然后按提示选择credit card,如果没有跳出提示让你输入ZIP CODE,便可进行下一步,取油枪,选择要加的油号(Regular 87),开始加油了。油箱加满后,油枪会自动跳掉,然后便会从信用卡里扣除相应油费。但向日葵色板官方的第一次自助加油,卡在了第一步。信用卡插入后,如果没有快速拉出,便不会进入到下一步。但当时我并不清楚这一点,不知问出在何处。于是,我便进店里请求帮助。一个大叔热情地随我出来,教我一步步操作完。最后,油加满,油费的收费单自动打印出来,上面显示加油费$18.62(单价.099/G)。当时,我并不知道我的信用卡被扣1,离开加油站一小时后,才发现招行发给我的微信显示,我的卡在加油站被扣了1。我吓了一跳,赶紧掏出收费条,再看一遍,但上面明明注明加油费.62,我又怎么会被扣1呢?可当时已离开加油站一小时,返回去询问是不可能了,收费条上也没有加油站的电话,唯一的办法只有打给招行。招行向日葵视频色板APP官网很好,打通电话后,测出我是从国外打的电话,便自动转入人工向日葵视频色板APP官网,省去我一步步操作所需时间。向招行确认后,当时的确从我的卡里刷走101美元,而非101元人民币。“加油怎么可能要101美元?”我大惑不解,更被这莫名其妙刷掉的101美元感到心痛。招行客服安慰我说,他们会跟踪这笔交易,三天后给我回复。当然,最后被刷走的实际金额仍然是.62,而非01。这1应该只是预授权而已。后来自助加油时也曾发生,明明加油.16,而当时却只被刷走。我自然也没有捡到这个便宜,该付多少钱最后仍会付多少钱。美国发达的信用卡机制,应该不会让人随便有机可乘,但这不经我许可,便随易乱扣的预授权,还是让人有点害怕。 半月弯——差点错过的风景加州一号公路的大名,你即使没去过,也不会没有听说过。蜿蜒于美国西海岸,从北向南将旧金山与洛杉矶相连在一起的一号公路,是所有人从旧金山自驾到洛杉矶的不二之选。所不同的只在于,你会在这条路线上花多少时间,两天,三天还是一周?甚至于,你愿意在路途中的某个小镇住上一个月,也不是不可能。一号公路太美,而路上那些小镇又如此梦幻,以至于在走完这条路线后,让我知道,我只留了两天时间给一号公路,是多么愚蠢的一个决定。但我的选择不仅是我的无奈,也是大多到美西自驾游的人的无奈,无奈的原因无非就是——时间。虽然一号公路的大部分路段都是沿海公路,开错路的可能性极小,但为了不错过每个景点,所以向日葵色板官方的GPS是一个点一个点地进行设置。离开Pacifica时,我无意中忘记了半月弯Half moon Bay,而把导航的下一个点设置到鸽点灯塔Pigeon Point Light 。当蓝色的太平洋进入视线后,自驾便多了一分浪漫与惬意。见路边停着几辆车,我俩便也停车下来,想看看他们停车的风景。走出车门,一阵海风迎面而来,带着阳光的气息。远处,蔚蓝的海水,冲刷出一段月牙般的海湾,拿出手机google地图一看,向日葵色板官方此时果然是在半月弯。不该你错过的风景,怎么也不会错过。 鸽点灯塔Pigeon Point Light——意义大于景致距离半月弯仅半小时车程的鸽点灯塔,是加州州立历史地,始建于1870年,至今已有145年,仍在被美国海岸警备队使用,是美国西海岸线上现役灯塔中最高的一个。树立在灯塔前的一个木牌上有鸽点灯塔的介绍,对它的评价极高,称它为加州的精神象征。我不懂为何灯塔被抬到精神象征的高度,难道是因为它在这一个半世纪里,指引了无数从加州海岸南面航行的船只,安全进入旧金山湾? 如果你仔细观察灯塔,会发现它的顶端光秃秃的,那个巨大的灯塔透镜呢?灯塔顶部的的菲涅尔透镜由1008块玻璃组成,是当时世界上最大的灯塔透镜,据说发出的光线能让40多公里外的船只看见。之前每年的11月,这里都会举行一次盛大的活动,用100多年前的方法来点灯,利用煤油灯和透镜所折射出来的光芒,相当于点亮了50万支蜡烛,从而吸引了无数摄影师前来拜访。当然,今年的11月是不会有这个活动了。因为那个有名的灯塔透镜,现在正乖乖地躺在灯塔附近的小屋里。虽然灯塔在无数次风暴以及1906和1989年的地震中幸存,但灯塔透镜仍在岁月的磨砺中受到损坏,需要修缮。目前正由加州州立公园基金会,一个独立的非盈利组织筹集修复灯塔所需资金,一旦资金筹措到位,便会启动修复计划。灯塔透镜不再高高在上,却给了向日葵色板官方一个近距离观察它的好机会。 我没有灯塔情结,所以这个高高矗立的白色灯塔,对我没有太多吸引力。对我来说,它不过是一号公路上的一个景点,顺路拜访而已。相较而言,这海上的风景更为养眼。白色的浪花重重拍打着礁石,却能抚平心里泛起的层层涟漪,直到内心如海水一般纯粹。 鲜花盛开蒙特雷在一号公路的所有景点中,从景致而言,鸽点灯塔是微不足道的,再加上仅一个灯塔而已,所以我预计呆上20分钟,拍张纪念照就可以离开了。但,向日葵色板官方却在鸽点灯塔停留了整整2个小时,因为蟋蟀头喜欢灯塔,不仅从各个角度拍灯塔,仔细观察灯塔透镜,甚至连灯塔旁边的纪念品小屋也要慢慢逛一逛,花32.7刀买下一个灯塔纪念品。看看时间已到下午230,向日葵色板官方却还逗留于鸽点灯塔,几乎可以说是一号公路的启始点,我快疯了。蟋蟀头不做攻略,攻略由我一人包办,所以虽然他在开车,却几乎不清楚向日葵色板官方每天的行程,我只是在每天出发前给他大概讲一下向日葵色板官方当天的车程,以及会去的地方。我反复对他强调,和后面的风景相比,这里什么也不算,而后面的景点还有一长串。就这样不断催促,向日葵色板官方竟然也停留了2个小时。从鸽点灯塔到蒙特雷,车程1小时20分钟。为节省时间,向日葵色板官方在路上的超市买了点零食,在车上解决了午餐。后来的20多天,在车上解决午餐甚至晚餐,早已成为常态。下午4点到达蒙特雷。之前看攻略,提到蒙特雷,一般都是讲它的渔人码头,以至于我心目中的蒙特雷,就是一个喧哗的海边小城。但第一眼的蒙特雷,却着实把向日葵色板官方惊艳了。鲜花盛开,安静雅致。 街上几乎无人,此时的蒙特雷,静谧得如同一座空城。我知道蟋蟀头已经开始后悔,之前在鸽点灯塔浪费了太多时间;而我也开始后悔,为什么不在蒙特雷住上一晚?当然,后面的小镇,各有特色,而每个小镇都令我们有想住下来的冲动。 蒙特雷的气息令人着迷,适合陶醉,也适合沉迷。假装扮下文艺,也无不可。 去蒙特雷游玩的人,大多都直奔渔人码头(Fisherman's Wharf)。有人曾在攻略里大力推荐,认为蒙特雷的渔人码头比旧金山的渔人码头更值得一去,因为这里海狮更多。所以离开鸽点灯塔时,向日葵色板官方把GPS直接定位到蒙特雷的渔人码头。在渔人码头附近看到一个停车点,正打算停车,工作人员却告诉向日葵色板官方说,现在这里暂时不能停车,要换另一个地点停车,并给了向日葵色板官方一张纸,上面有停车点的具体地址以及详细的路线指引。但用google地图搜索后发现,工作人员介绍的这个停车点距离渔人码头很远,走过去可要花一点时间。蟋蟀头说,向日葵色板官方自己另找停车位吧。便思忖着去找一个路边的停车位。在美国停车,主要有两种,一种是公共停车场public parking,另一种是路边停车street parking。路边停车有停车线,而且停车位旁通常有咪表,需先缴费买停车时间。但向日葵色板官方居然在蒙特雷的一条小街上找到一个没有咪表的停车位。看看前后,路边上都停满车,而且的确没有咪表,当然也没有像国内那样的收费员。后来在美西自驾20多天,停过各式各样的地方,在旧金山、洛杉矶停车时支付过高昂的停车费,也在国家公园和所有的小镇几乎没支付过停车费,这才发现美国的停车费制度其实非常合理。那就是收费并非一刀切,而且收费是为控制,并非只为赚钱。人少车少的地方,不收停车费;人多车多的地方,收高昂的停车费。但即使是旧金山,到了晚上,路边停车也几乎不收费,因为这时候车少啊,没有必要收费。 传说中“游客云集”的渔人码头,人并不多。难道,现在是蒙特雷的淡季?但其实,渔人码头的栈道两边都是餐厅、咖啡馆和酒吧,当时已是下午4点过,既过了午餐时间,也不到晚餐时间,游客们可能在潜水,也可能在观鲸船上,码头上人不多倒也正常。 太平洋的海水,真让人怀疑是神不小心泼洒下的蓝墨水,蓝得如此纯净。但如果蒙特雷是一个人迹罕至的孤岛倒也罢了,明明这里游人趋之若鹜,海水却依然如此干净清透,没有国内景点常见的垃圾与海水中脏污的浮沫,是令向日葵色板官方诧异的。 海狮呢,海狮呢?我心心念念只想搜寻海狮。明明在别人的照片里看见,蒙特雷渔人码头的海岸边趴着一群群的海狮,为何我却只见海鸟,不见海狮。为此我还特地去问了一个看上去是久住此地的大叔,问他哪儿可以看见海狮?他说,没有海狮了。再问为什么?他的回答倒很简单,“no food, no sea lion。”海狮其实是一种迁徙性动物,会因食物或交配而进行迁徙,并不会永居某地。旧金山渔人码头的39号码头,在1989年旧金山大地震后,迁徙来了上千头海狮,并繁衍得越来越多,却也曾因为海狮要到南方海域交配,而突然之间消失得无影无踪。所以,如果你没在旧金山和蒙特雷的渔人码头看到海狮,其实也不奇怪。 没有看到海狮,但面向大海,弹支曲子,也很不错哦。虽是“假装”弹琴,但蒙特雷明亮的蓝天,纯粹的大海,此情此景,都令人心生留恋。 在蟋蟀头的镜头中,蒙特雷既可以简约清丽,也可以用多重爆光玩点技术。而重点是,我俩都爱蒙特雷。([

There are many like-minded asking me about it. I now present this thread to briefly tell everybody about my journey.The starting point of this traverse was from the highest peak of the western part of the Tibetan plateau, Jieshan Daban, and the day was April 20, 2010.I was heading eastward passing Bungdag Co, Yanghu Co, Rola Co, and Kangzhagri Mountain, which crossed over the desolate region from west to east. The journey continued northward to enter the unpopulated area of Altun Mountains, through Hoh Xil Mountains, Kunlun Mountains, Whale lake, ..., finally met some people by the Aqqikkol Hu and then arrived in Huatugou by vehicle three days later and that day was July 5. It had been 77 days in total. I had been all alone 74 days after leaving Jieshan Daban until arriving inAqqikkol Hu, which was about 1400km and about four months.[The Great Chang Tang] In Tibetan, "Chang Tang" means northern empty wilderness while narrowly, means unpopulated region in northern part of Tibet. However, it actually indiCATes all of the no man's land in northern. The great Chang Tang includes desolate places in Northern Tibet, Hoh Xil, Alun Mountains, and Kunlun Mountains, which are interconnected to form the unique and super empty wilderness in the world. Only because Hoh Xil is the most known name, most people just think this vast land is equivalent to Hoh Xil. In reality, Hoh Xil is only a small piece of the Great Chang Tang both administratively and geologically. The Great Chang Tang, the last land to chase your freedom and dream.The route that I traversed ForeplayI arrived in Tibet in the early March, a couple of troubles bothered me. The brand new plug got its positive and negative wrongly connected; the rivets of my rucksack eASIly got broken from now and again; and a multi-functional charger got damaged and so on. Riding my bike to Ngari for warming up of this journey, lost my rucksack but later got it back; lost my camera bag and got it back later again, and finally lost a big bicycle pannier in the street of Gyangze town under the eyes of police, including clothes, solar panel and so on.Without much choice, I returned to Lhasa to adjust all the stuff I would need in the wilderness. Then I begged some luck by going to Nyingchi to enjoy the blossoms of peach trees and to take a hot spring bath. I even had the privilege to enjoy time with ten girls in the hot spring. I felt my bad luck had all gone and then returned to Lhasa again to prepare going to Ngari. I did not expect that I was cheated on by some hustler and lost some money and delayed my schedule for a week. I had to find a car myself quickly to Nagri. However, I lost the tool for fast-parting my rear wheel on my way to Nagri, where was a remote area in Tibet and nowhere to buy the tool. Even if there was one in Lhasa it would take at least ten days for a special delivery service. I was lucky that my mate Duola asked a driver to bring the tool for me from Lhasa. I thought there should be no more nightmare like this but the nozzle of my brand new multi-fuel stove was broken. The next day I tried everywhere to weld them back together. The first three shops could not do the welding for copper. The fourth one said they could do it but could not guarantee a sUCCess. The engineer said it would be ten Chinese yuans if it was a success. I agreed. Just in seconds, my nozzle became crap in a flash of lightening. I was so upset. Again, Duola helped me by bringing her own MSR oil stove and Dingding's sleeping bag to Nagri. That was already April 16 and I did not have much time to waste. It was still night and extremely cold and dark. Driver was not bothered to pop his head out of the driving cab. I climbed up on the top of the iron wastes, taking my bicycle down. In a hurry, I punched my old water bag. Fortunately I had another MSR water bag given by a friend of mine otherwise I would definitely fail without even starting my journey. For the first time for me to set up the brand new tent in strong, cold winds. It would be impossible to do so if the tent was not a whole piece. Extremely cold outside, about -15C, might be lower than that, I put my head into the sleeping bag but was nearly suffocated to death, honestly. The smell of Dingding's sleeping bag was, lol, so extraordinary. I woke up around 11 o'clock. There were still strong winds outside so that I had to use my bodyweight to keep the tent in place. At the time when I just started to cook and eat, four patrolling soldiers approached me. To their surprise someone, in this season, camped in Jieshan Daban. I was so nervous and afraid they were the people to block my journey because I was caught and deported from the desolate land last year. Luckily the four soldiers did not know my destination and were very kind to me. After they left, I immediately packed my stuff and pushed my bike into the depths of the unpopulated area just in case anything unexpected happened.The bike was very heavy due to the provisions and hard to control. There was even a quite small hill that I had to remove my bike panniers to get over it. This really struck me because this happened even the path was still the hardship one at the moment and I could not imagine what I would do once I entered the uncertain, endless wilderness. Until now I had not met anyone, even the nomadic pastoralists. I remembered there were quite a few of them roaming at the edge of the northern Tibetan plateau last year. All of these indicated it was not the good pasture season in such low temperature and strong winds. Around 16km there was a sheep cote, where I passed it last year, east of Lungmu Co. I was exhausted at this point so that I decided to camp in here and to rest my head. After arranging tent everything I went out to look for the wetland discovered by Duola and Liumeng last year. I was determined to find it.There were many hot springs in the wetland which were underground water with a constant temperature. The wetland therefore became an ideal habitat for some fishes and weeds under such harsh weather, which was the very unique land feature of terrain in this over 5200m highland.Perpetual snow in the valley blown to corn shape by strong windsThis wetland was discovered by Duola and Liumeng. The next day rather than continuing to travel, I stayed inside the sheep cote, hesitating and pondering over. Indeed, there were so many problems before this journey;I did not have sufficient physical preparation;the load had already reached its limitation; I still coughed a lot;the weather was so extreme and cold. All in all, I did not think this journey was well prepared and I did not have confidence in completing this journey mentally and physically. To do, or not to do, it was the question. Similarly I did not have confidence in my facilities, not knowing whether all of them would work functionally or not. The fact was one of the rivets got broken again and the front rack came loose. In the afternoon, I replaced all the rivets of the panniers with screws I had prepared before. This was an excellent job I had done which gave me no further troubles throughout my whole journey. I also re-adjusted the front rack. However I did not think it would definitely all right because I did not have a tool to do it. When the darkness descended,I made up my mind to continue my journey, which, of course, was not beyond any imagination. You could hear the gigantic sound of wind if the picture had a sound Day 3 (April 22), 52.4km, Camping 5145mGot up in the morning, could not put everything into the bags. Without much choice I had to throw away three portions of tsampa, elbow pads, and crampons. Following the road of the lead-zinicmine I found the side path to enter the wilderness, which was on the riverbed and very hard to see. I missed this side path last year so that I had to take a short cut into the wilderness directly then. That was why I had taken extra care to find the side path. The following journey was to get over a big hill, which lay 5275m above sea level and was the highest point of my whole journey. Around 2 o'clock in the afternoon, I passed the side path leading to Orba Co and started a journey which was complete strange to me. I ate a piece of pilot breads, which was frozen like rocks so that I had to use my spade to crush it. At 6 o'clock in the evening, I had pushed plus rode my bicycle for about 32 km. I reckoned I should have been able to double this if I did no carry such heavy load. The wind became stronger and stronger. I opened the parasail kits and tested it. The result was far beyond what I expected. With the aid of the strong wind I was just like flying over the wilderness. After 8 o'clock in the evening, I started to observe the water Source and to get ready to camp. Map showed there were successive springs along the path and assembled to puddles. But I had overestimated the water source here in this land and in this season there were endless wilderness inside the valley, where I could not see a single drop of water. As it became darker and darker, I felt a little bit nervous which resulted in three spokes of the parasail broken and became a useless rubbish. Anyway, it helped me to move forward 20km more which benefited me a lot later on. When time approached 9.30 pm, it was almost completely dark. I had to lie my bike on the ground and went on to try to find water on the north side of the valley. This was a wide and flat sandy land, where I could not see any ditches there and further was complete darkness. I returned to get my GPS to look up the contours and found the south part of the valley was closer to a hill so I took the way. Finally I found a piece of ice in a ditch. I smashed about 20litre of ice. The ice was quite shallow scattered with sheep poo. On my way back, my eyes were hurt by strong winds, which got me a couple of days to recover. It was nearly 23 o'clock after I set up the tent. It also took about 40 mins to melt the ice. I was so tired and my appetite was completely spoiled. I then had a little bit of milk. I had never expected thing would go like this, it was so distressing. Streams along the path, ice everywhereThe river flew into Matou Hu, in whose north part there was a satellite lake, a wonderful ice-skating court It took 40mins to melt the ice in midnight Day 4 (April 23), 31km, Camping 5028mA cloudy day with gusts. From now and again, hails chased me from behind. Sunny spell. Heavy sandy land made me have to push my bike. At 3pm, I arrived at Luxing Hu, where there was a house made of clay. This was the last permanent building of my journey. Last year, Duola and Liumeng once lived in this house for three days without meeting anybody. It seemed it was the same but the truck parking in front of the house made me worry about. I went to the sheep cote first to check over, where there were only a few lambs following me everywhere I went later on. This made me feel warm in my heart. I observed farther places using my binoculars but could not see any people or sheeps. After making sure there were no people around I opened the locked door using a screwdriver. The living room was very clean. There were two boxes of beverages on the ground and a string of cured lamb legs hanging over in the interior room. A pot of water was on the top of the stove, lukewarm, which indicated the host must be not far away from his home. I filled up my water bag and left the house. I also put the screws back to the door in order not to leave any trace of my visiting. I then took a spanner from the toolbox of the truck, which gave me great help for the rest of the journey.I left the house as quickly as possible. After last year's experience, the nomadic pastoralists were the last people I wanted to meet. A few hundred meters away from the house, the vehicle traces were fading fast. Even downhill, I had to push rather than to ride because of the heavy loose sand. From the route point of view, only after Luxing Hu it was the real unpopulated land. After many days, I thought of the lamb legs from time to time. It was pity that I then had plenty of provisions and the bike was too heavy to carry anything more. Probably this road was the high plain or somewhere the wind passed so that it was so windy. The average wind speed was degree 6 but could reach degree 9 in the blick of an eye. The road was still full of sand and very heavy to walk on it. My eyes became worse under such harsh weather. About three o'clock in the afternoon, I saw something in my right, looked like antenna. I went closer to see what it was and found out it was an iron tower (the triangulation station). In 1970s, a joint team from Chinese three military regiments entered this area doing research. They have left a lot of triangulation stations and benchmarks, which I had the priviledge to see them today.At dusk, I approached to a spring by the Bungdag Co, which flew into the frozon lake. The sand and soil, brought by the strong wind, scattered on the surface of the ice all over the lake. There were so many cracks around the icey surface of the lake. I geussed it must be caused by the springs under the water rather than by melted ice. In the west of the Bungdag Co was the side path leading to Keriya Pass, where a SUV could reach directly. I had looked out any vehicle Tracks but failed. The cloudy sky started to snow. I set up the tent comfortably because I knew that I was safe having such a sweet spring beside me.Triangulation station erected by scientists from the joint research team on Chang Tang of three military regiments in 1971[size=+0]The gap between water and ice in Bungdag Co, I guessed there must be some springs under the lakeThe storm just above the ground, a chaotic darkness[size=+0]Icy Bungdag Co,one of the four biggest lakes in Northern Tibet, wild ducks flying over this vastness and lonenessSnowing at any time, should not happen so frequently like this in this seasonDay 6 (April 25), 4.3km, Camping 5002mWeathering landforms everywhere around this area. Spongy volcanic rocks could be found easily. I pushed my bike turning around a small hill, seeing a big river, the Yinshui He, flowing from Orba Co into Bungdag Co, which I had been to its upstream last year. It was also a passage for animal migration. The downstream of the river was extremely wide and broad. The thickess of the ice layer could reach one meter with the main stem in the middle course of the river, very deep. There were a few springs along the river, sweet and clear.I only went forward a little bit more than 4km but I had walked more than 20km for finding my way. It was not possible to cross the main stem, let alone the north bank of Bungdad Co. What I could only do was to try to find a shallow place to cross. But the southern area was a even larger piece of wetland and forced the road turn towards west. I spent a couple of hours but failed to find a good point to cross the river. In the afternoon, I decided to follow the edge of the wetland. When I reached the hill foot, the wetland finally disappeared. Around this area, there were clearly volcanic feature of terrain and I even found traces of pasturing and cairns made from volcanic rock.Here was the last pasturing trace I found throughout my journey, I guessed it was a summer pasture area. After this, there was no clear sign of human activities in this vast wilderness. I had been looking for my ways until it was dark. I made up my mind where to go TOMOrrow. The terrain here looked like Yardang landforms, as well as volcanic landforms The Yinshui He river from Orba CoSprings scattered all over the river bank, painted green by lovely algaeThe river was very deep. The mixture of green and amber colour showed the sand and mud carried by the melted iceThick layer of ice, sunken surface caused by strong gustsThe south course of the Yinshui He, countless small streams. To the right was the wetlandLooking for ways in the east, a trace of pasturing and the cairn made from spongy volcanic rocksMy camp, opposite to the hillDay 7 (April 26), 11km, Camping 5009mI moved forward to the direction I found yesterday, turning around the wetland and walking toward east. At 2pm, I was blocked by the zigzag Yinshui He again and I had no choice but to cross it. The river was about 700m wide, covered by ice which appeared very different. The hanging ice, the folding ice, the piling-up ice, the icy puddle, and the sleet were everywhere along the river bank. Having noticed all of these, I reckoned the river would be receding at dusk, which was why there were so many different shapes and forms of ice. I put my slipper on, going into the main stream of the river. I found there were at least three different courses of the river, the thickness of the surface ice varied and the river water reached above my knees. I sighed there would be no way back once I crossed this river. There are many ways in one's life too, you can only take it once and you will no long have the courage to repeat it.I pushed the bike crossing the river. Some of the ice was a bit soft, jamming the tyres so that I had to use my feet to break them first. Some of the ice was a bit thick but with half-melted underneath, sticking the the bike completely, some of the ice was half-water half-ice with a sandy riverbed, which was really hard to pass. I had to remove all of the panniers at the last stage of the crossing. I spent the whole four hours to cross the river, my legs got many bloody cuts. At 6pm, the surface ice was almost disappeared completely, the river level rapidly rising to a chaotic status. I thought if I hesitated a little bit at that time, I could not have the courage to cross this river under such circumstances. The river bank was unimaginably sandy and was quite steep. I had to unloaded the panniers again to reach the top of the bank. By the time of sunset, the weather became exceptionally good. The sunlight from the descending sun, the blue sky, the faint moon, .... I liked such a colorful and peaceful Chang Tang and very much enjoyed my camp and myself bathed in such beautiful colour.The ice like this was very thin and suspended, far away from the main stemHard surface with half-melted underneath, the soft sand at the botton was most scaryThe ice like this could easily jam the wheels, hard to get it outI had to unload the panniersChaotic water and terrible hails turned up in no timeThe Chang Tang at the moment liked it used to be,a mixture of cold and warm tones under the golden setting sun Day 8 (April 27), 14.6km, Camping 5112mLast night, I forgot to bring in the odometer, which was out of order due to the coldness in midnight. Since then I used GPS to check the mileage. The digital thermometer was no longer working. I had to use mercury thermometer to collect data. Night temperatures were basically between –15℃—–20℃ while the temperature inside my tent was about –10℃. The advantage of the integrated tent was that it limited the ventilation so to keep warm inside. However, it got clearly disadvantage of heavy condensation and dew. Every morning, there was plenty of frost inside the tent so that I had to put my hood on First Before fully getting dressed. The winds in Chang Tang finally became consistent with the pattern I had researched the other day no or very tiny wind in the morning, strong wind started after 2pm, and then at around 8pm its strength was reduced again. The accuracy of this prediction was about 80%.The road was very bad today. I walked whole afternoon in an ancient riverbed and it was so difficult that I had to use all of my strengths to move a small step forward and then to stop to breath, slower than a snail. After five hours' struggling, my eyes got wet when I saw the grassy river bank. Finally! The nightmare was over.Cold and clear morningHeavy morning condensation in the interior, a lot of frost to clearSuch dawning sunlight indicated a cloudy day ahead Day 9 (April 28), 18km, 5072mIn the morning I entered a range of sandy roads which were so terrible. The solar panel specially designed for GPS got short circuited. After checking it was found to be the diode got damaged. Luckily I got a replacement. Because the GPS was exclusively supplied by a solar panel so that it was no longer a problem for the power supplement of GPS. In a period of 70 days, I did replace the battery once, which saved me a lot of alkaline batteries. I did have another solar panel of 5.4 W which was used specifically for 7.5V Camera, DV and other digital facilities. Unlike water, I had never been short of power.At 7pm in the evening, I arrived at Pur Co. The surface of this lake was very odd the ice by the river bank rose and the river bank was broken, I reckoned that was due to the strong winds. The ice there was mingled with something yellow, could be the stain of alkali. There were many wild yaks on the other side of the lake. There could be two brown bears but I could not be for certain. On the east side of the lake, there was a peninsula leading to the centre of the lake. I camped just opposite to the peninsula. At night , I smashed the ice to get drinking water, which tasted alkali. For the first time I cooked the cereals, which was brought completely by accident. This was just because I found there was a little bit of extra space when I was in Nagri packing the stuff for this journey so that I bought two packs of cereals. It tasted disgusting, probably there was too much alkali in the water. I threw away half of it. Later I realised that probably I subconsciously felt that the provisions was so heavy. I would rather make it lighter at any cost.Dry all my stuff in the morning sun, a routine matterA faint dusk in Pur CoThe river bank pushed up by ice and opened like zipper by gustsThe pushed up surface of the iceThe place where I got my drinking water, a thin layer of ice behind the ablation corns The moment just before sun set, glittering Pur Co, nothing was the same差点儿没找到俺自己的帖子,原来变色了。多谢各位鼓励。 Day 10 (April 29), 16km, Camping 5141mIn the morning, I walked around the north bank of the Pur Co, where it were continuous ups and downs sprinkled with light yellow sprouts across the sparse grassland. The wild yaks clustered into small groups. All of a sudden, there was a group of five of them running towards me, blowing a huge cloud of dust with the power of thunderbolts,I believed that anyone who did not know the characters of the wild yaks must be frightened to death under such circumstances. The fact was the wild yaks in groups never injured people. Rushing to you just to show you its territory. When they approached people at certain distance, they would turn sharply and run away, and then stopped somewhere high to stare at you. You can not imagine that the wild yaks were very cautious animals compared with its almost one ton of weight. Their first reaction, when meeting people, was to raise their tails, the front hooves rubbing against the ground, the horns pointing forward, the eyes redden, and the long body hair shaking, all of which showed their determination to fight.This was the warning sign that you should retreat. However, you should realise that this was only a gesture that they were afraid of you and wanted to scare you away. The thing was that if you were not afraid of them and moved forward, they would run away in no time. There were only some mad yaks attacking people, which was really rare to happen. In Chang Tang, an experienced driver know that it is very dangerous to pass directly from two or three lonely wild yaks. They always tried to avoid confronting them directly. If this was not possible, they would lit a cigarette, smoking, to wait until the yaks walked away themselves. This was because the wild yaks really could attack vehicles, which was not completely rumors. I once asked them why I had not been attacked. They told me that because my bike was so small they would not be bothered to attack it. My own experience was that approaching a wild yak very slowly, do not look into its eyes, and ignored what it was doing. As long as it moved forward a little bit, just stop and give the yaks a little bit of time to think. Because if you forced the yak, it could be themost dangerous animal in the world and nothing could stop them killing. Even a gunshot could not kill it but only left a small hole in its skin. In the past, the nomads living near this land would use yaks' skin as chopping board which was very much endurable. At noon, I lost my balacLAVA, which was brand new and I had never used it once. I could not be bothered to go back tofind it. This resulted in that I had to have my fleece hat day and night in the rest of my journey, which did not provide fully protection from the sun in the plateau. But somehow I was all right, perhaps because my skin is similar to those of yaks, lol. At around half past one, I found a deserted Jeep, upside down. I felt it could be there for years and it could be the vehicle of someillegal HUNTERs. Nowadays, we have wildlife conservation reserves in Chang Tang and the animals here are well protected. However, some people kills the wild yaks to sell them as the domestic yak's meat. In general, it is worth 10,000 Chinese yuans for a single wild yak. Therefore many people take the risk to make money. They often enter the unpopulated areas to hunt and their activities can reach 200 km in diameter. This is why the wild yaks in the deep wilderness are less afraid of people than thoseat the boundaries of the Chang Tang region.There once happened that a wild yak mother revenged its baby's murder in the Altun mountains. Its horns pierced the killer's chest and held his body over its head for more than ten days, which was very touching.Around 3pm, I walked out of the Pur basin. The next point was Hong Shan Daban and then it was the Yueya Hu by the Toze Gangri. At this time I found a vehicle track from south to north. I checked over but could not find the way where they had gone. I took my map, GPS, and compass, climbing up a small hill to estimate the location of Hong Shan Daban. The mountain was very round and it was hard to find the mountain pass. After determining the location of the Daban, I moved straightforward. When I passed a messy grassland, I saw something that I was reluctant to see more than hundreds of wild yaks' head scattered all over, which was definitely the scene of the illegal hunting. After that it was a very long ancient river bed with soft sand slowly rising until the foot of the mountain.There are some spines on the surface of the tongues of wild yaks, which are used by nomads in this area as combs. They use them from their teens to the time when their hair becomes silver.The deserted Jeep, could be left by illegal hunters years agoThe slaughtered wild yaks with the wheel size heads. Some of the skulls were chopped into half. Why was that? Could be taken away for making combs?My camp at the foot of the Daban underthe lingering golden rays of the setting sun. Tomorrow's weather must be wonderful, I reckoned Day 11(April 30), 20.4km, Camping 5120mThe surface of the road leading to Hong Shan Daban was very hard, most of them were small rocks, sort of gravels, plus a quite long downhill slope, I pushed my bike more than 20km for the first time after Luxing Hu. The mountain pass was quite flat, just like a broad ridge, it was 5256m above the sea level. Upon arriving at the pass, Toze Gangri of 6356m was in my sight clearly, very much round and there was no back bone like normal snow covered mountains. Most of the snow mountains in Chang Tang looked like this probably it was due to the geological movements. There were quite a few chirus or Tibetan antelopes in the valley but I was not interested in this kind of animals anymore after I witnessed a large scale of migration of such animals last year elsewhere.The herbivorous animals here are very quick to reach its original size of the population, such as wild yaks, chirus, Tibetan gazelle, pika, and marmot. When you go into the depths of the Chang Tang, you could hardly be surpised by the sudden appearance of the chirus because they are so common in here. At this time of year, the chirus have already male-female parted. You could see many pregnant female chirus but hardly see any males. According to recent research, Zonag Co is not the only lake for breeding. There are at least four of them in the whole Chang Tang. Zonag Co, Tuzi Hu, Heishi Beihu, and another lake I can not remember. I think there must be more than four of them and most of the populations do not migrant long way like most people used to think. They generally migrant from south to north between Central Mountains and Kunlun Mountains.The chirus looks very timid but are very curious about outside world. They are not really afraid of people, particularly in the depth of the Chang Tang. The nearest distance we can approach is about 30m. They just stare at you calmly and think who you are and why you move so slow. They would run in front of you. Look like they are afraid of you but the fact is they are playing with you. A man's own character shapes his fortune. This is of course suit for animals too. The chirus are the typical one. They have a super speed and a pair of sharp antlers. If they are crazy, three of them work together could easily kill a wolf. But as you might have known, their antlers are just for fighting to mate with females.Down the Daban there was a very steep and straight road, I tried to ride the bicycle but ended up with falling over. The front rack came loose and one of the pannier flew into valley. The foot of the mountain was the Yueya Hu covered by ice, which was alake full of heavy metal elements. Along the lake bank there were many stark rocks very much weathered, lining up just like castles or houses. This made me stop to investigate what they were from time to time, I did understand they were just rocks though but they were so real like the figures of real people. On of them even made me hide in a ditch, observing them again and again using my binoculars. There were also many black volcanic rocks. All in all, the features of this area were really unusual.Passed over the Yueya Hu, it was an endless ancient lake bed. What my GPS showed was this area was a big lake like tentacles. I looked around, it was endless wilderness without a piece of ice and a drop of water. Roughly, I estimated this lake bed was about 1200 square meters. I had to tell you that Chang Tang was a place where there was no high-resolution map. The marks in the map often were some kind of memory. Just like this ancient lake bed under my feet, may be it was full of water a few years ago. Who knows. Pushing the bike in such an endless lake bed was very easy to get lost. About wildlife (part 1)Declaration Personal experience for reference onlyDangerous wild animals and their threats to human beings are a ever-LASTING subject for those backpackers travelling in the wild.In Chang Tang, for example, there are two kinds of deadly animals, one is wolves and the other is brawn bears. As substitutes, wild yaks and crows might be dangerous to you in some circumstances that I will come back to this a little bit later on. As for how to protect yourself against these dangerous animals, I think the primary point is you do not try to hurt them because the emotions of human and animals are same instinctively. [Wolves]Throughout my journey, I met wolves a total of seven times, in which I confronted them five times. As you might have known that wolves have become more and more solitary animals, it is very rare they live in a large group nowadays. Please allow me off the point a little bit and talk about the ecological problems in Chang Tang. The problem is now not the decrease of the number of the chirus but the imbalance of the whole food chain, more specifically, the number of the animals on the higher trophic levels of the food chain has not yet reached its ideal level which results in this kind of imbalance. Particularly, the pikas and the marmots who have lost their predators rapidly expanse which results in the desertification of Chang Tang. As early as the middle of last century, wolves were the dominant predators in the vast wilderness. They became a threat not only to other preys but also nomads pasturing in this land. Therefore, the then government called on people to cull back the population of the wolves in Chang Tang, which resulted in the current situation directly. The last official record about wolves attacking humans was around 1970s, which happened in Bamaoqiongzong. A team of secientists was surrounded by a group of wolves and they had to shoot them using guns. Of course, at present in Chang Tang, wolves are absolutely lonely.In this traverse, the first time I encountered a pair of wolves, one of them staying in front of me pretending to attack me while the other staying behind me. This is the standard attacking strategy of wolves. First, you should not be nervous which can be easily detected by the predators. Second, you should not retreat even an inch because this means you are the prey rather than the predator. Do not make any large movement, of course you could take a picture if you feel safe to do so. You must look into its eyes for a few minutes or even half an hour. When the wolves can not work out who you are and consider you are not posing any danger to them, then they will leave. You should remember that wolves in this land do not lack of food and it is much easy for them to catch a pika than a human. Even if being hungry, they would evaluate how easy to get you done, What you need to do is to show them that you are not interested in them and you are not afraid of them at all, let alone to show your ID card to them. As for the wolves family, really, I have not heard for ages. If you really have an encounter with them and they have no other choice, then it definitely depends on your forture. In fact, for so many year, it has been very rare to happen that wolves kill human. But the rumours are still there, in particular, the road connecting Xinjiang and Tibet.The nearest encounter with a wolf throughout my journey, no conflict at all[Brown Bears]Brown bears are real dangerous animals to human. Every year there are some accidents happened in some regions of Xinjiang on the north side of Kunkun Mountains and steppes in Northern Tibet. More than that the bears could attack your house, smash your windows, and eat your sheep. Therefore, in Northern Tibet some local councils give subsidies to the pastorarists for compensating the losses due to the bears because they are not allow to fight back and kill the bears except their lives are in great danger. Once there was a nomad taught me a method to protect yourself from bears. He told me to pick up a stick to feed the bear and the bear thinks the stick is your hand which tastes disgusting. On the other hand, it might be because bears have quite high IQ so that they think it is much easy to kill a sheep in the cote rather than to kill a pika in the wild.I have met bears five times in my traverse, in two cases we were very close to each other. I had even walked with one of them for quite a while, just like we had a date for a walk. The fact is it is not that terrible like you might imagine. The Chang Tang is really a vast area so as to be very easy to detect anything strange.By the way, you'd better to avoid mating season's animals because even tamed rabbits could be aggressive in mating season.The thing is even if you have a gun, it is not very much helpful when bears attack you. Therefore, your attitude is most important.I can tell you something. Dogs are more dangerous than these wild animals. I had been chased by Tibetan dogs, pounced on by dogs in mating season, also besieged by a group of dogs. Day 12 (May 1), 23.8km, Camping 5117mToday was May 1 -- the Labour Day, I had been walking in some lake area marked in the map but clearly dried up. The lake basin was flat and hard so that I even pushed my bike more than 20km. Let it be the special treat for my May Day. After midday it became cloudy with growing winds. Since the Yueya Hu that I passed yesterday, there were no big lakes until Yanghu Co (My route would be between Jianshui Hu and Bairab Co), there was even no light alkaline water to drink so I had to pay extra attention not to miss any possible drinking water supply to fill up my water bag. There were a few very small lakes but all were alkaline puddles which was very shallow, whose depth was no more than the length of a half-finger. These puddles were covered with a hard shell of the mixture of salt and ice which smelled stinking and decaying when getting closer, must be toxic water I supposed. On the shore of this type of small lakes it was muddy soil and very hard to get closer.There was no sign of tundra at all.It was almost half past six when I found some snow corns in a ditch, which was the only drinking water supply of the day. There was a thin layer of melted ice on the surface of the ground near the snow corn, which was very hard to collect and was contaminated by the alkali. The snow corn was the yet melted thick snow, which was shaped like a corn by wind. The snow was quite hard and dry,porous like ice. I crushed a few snow corns, putting them into the water bag.They would be my drinking water tonight. These snow corns were the only one in today's wilderness, I reckoned the reason why they were not melted like others was the soil underneath contained large amount of ice blocks which acted as a freezer.Very strong gale in the night, it was hard to bear the sound of the vibration of the tent. Small single tent was good in the sense that it would not be blown away as long as you stayed inside. But you had to be very careful to set up the tent. I once did not pay much attention when doing so, the tent was blown away by winds, and rolling over like a Giant lantern ... I ran after it, got it back, and was exhausted. In general, it is not possible to fix the tent completely using tent pegs because they were not very much effective like large tents. It was snowing around 23 o'clock, the winds were howling from north,then the falling snow flakes landed on my tent quietly, I finally felt at peace and fell asleep. The flat ancient lake basin, assisting me walking more than 20kmSmall lake en route, toxic waterSnow corns, the only drinking water supply today Day 13 (May 2), 0km, Camping 5117mWaking up in the morning and opening the tent, the heavy snow outside must be sent by the God to force me have a break for the May Day. After lying in for a while, getting up and walking on the snowy ground out I went to have a look around. As first sight there were a herd of chirus. They were plainly to be spotted because they looked like a clear black straight line in the while snow. I returned to get my camera and then followed them to take some pictures. But they were very much alert and kept a quite long distance from me. I felt they were a group of pregnant females, instinctively protecting themselves from any potential harm. I was no longer short of water, the snow gave me a precious supply of drinking water. The problem was that they were very petrol consuming. I tool 8.6 litre of petrol and the oil stove was Duola's MSR. The pot was of 1.5 litre, mainly for boiling water. After several days' experiments, I found that the liquid water needed 16mins and 14-15mins to boil in the morning and evening, respectively. For ice, it would take 35-40mins while for snow it took 45-50mins. Melting snow was a very time and petrol consuming process so if I had a choice between snow and light alkaline water, most of time I would go with the latter. Lying inside the tent, listening to musics,I smoked a cigarette while gazing at the more and more chirus around me. Because it was very cold I had been wearing my shoes all the time. Now I just put my bare feet under the warm sun for some fresh air. I found three cuts in my hands and one in my sole. The cuts were about 4cm in length, looked terrible but it was actually all right really. Half of my toes were injured by to much walking, quite painful. I fetched my medicine bag and found I only got four patches of plasters, a serious mistake. One of the cuts in my hand had never been cured until I was out of this desolate land so as to feel like this finger would drop from my hand at any time. The others quickly recovered in a few days then new cuts appeared elsewhere. This process occurred periodically. I felt that it was somewhat related to the cold, dry weather and the lack of vitamins. The snow rapidly disappeared, which is unique phenomenon in Chang Tang. Because of the low air humidity and the high radiation from the sun, the snow was evaporating very fast, much quicker than the melting speed. Owing to this, the ground was generally still dry after the snow disappeared. In most cases, it would be only 2/5 left in the afternoon around 2 to 3 o'clock and small patches of ground could be seen. It would be completely all right for walking the next day. On the third day there could be some snow left in somewhere the sunlight hard to reach. So generally it could give you three days of water supply after a heavy snow like this. One of the pannier was broken, the most expensive one from deuter series, supposed to be waterproof. I will come back to it at some point later.
